Episode 14: Caught in Romance

Haneul expressed his disbelief, saying, "You actually believe her?" With a casual "Ok, bye, Aera," Hwa Yeong shifted her attention to Haneul. The smile on her face disappeared as she continued, "Honey, next time, don't talk to Aera like that. We don't know what's going on in someone's life. You don't know what they are facing or what they are going through... Right now, she is having a very, very, very hard time." Gratefully taking the soup from Haneul, she added, "Thank you for this, darling. I am leaving now. Bye, Hun!"

As Hwa Yeong made her way to leave, Haneul grabbed her arm, causing her to pause. He inquired, "Where are you going?" Hwa Yeong responded with a smile, "You see, hun, I'm a businesswoman. So, therefore, I'm going to my office."

Haneul questioned her decision, exclaiming, "WHAT?! At this time?? Do you even know what time it is?" Hwa Yeong, looking at her watch, acknowledged, "Of course, I know, hun." She laughed awkwardly, "It's just that... ummm... I forgot something there."

Determined to accompany her, Haneul insisted, "Then, let me send you there." However, Hwa Yeong declined, saying, "Uhh, It's okay. You look tired; you should go home and sleep."

Refusing to let her go alone, Haneul stated, "No, what kind of boyfriend leaves their girlfriend alone?? Come! Let's go!!" They headed towards the car together.

Meanwhile, Aera, busy with her brother, texted Hwa Yeong inquiring about what she wanted to discuss. Hwa Yeong informed her, "Well, I will tell you tomorrow morning at my office." Aera, assuming it to be a date, responded, "Ooh... A date... Me like!" Hwa Yeong clarified, "Not a date! Just meet me in my office tomorrow at 9 in the morning. Okay?" Aera replied, "I'll see. I have work to do too."

Later on, Aera asked for the location of the office. Hwa Yeong teased her, saying, "Was waiting for you to ask... HOME." She then turned off her phone, opened the car window, and stuck her head out, feeling a sense of peace.

Observing Hwa Yeong, Haneul thought to himself, "Wow, she's really cute. Thank goodness she is mine or I would've been so jealous of the guy that had her."

The next day, Aera greeted Hwa Yeong with excitement, saying, "Hello, bestie! Wow... It's been soo long since I said that." Hwa Yeong responded warmly, "Oh, Aerashi! How are you? I think you feel amazing because your face is glowing."

Aera, noticing Hwa Yeong's tired appearance, commented, "Yeah, I do! But yours... It is horrible. What were you doing last night that you didn't catch a wink of sleep. Ooooh... I see... You and Haneul..." She raised her eyebrows, implying something more.

Surprised by the assumption, Hwa Yeong quickly denied, "What?! No way!!" Aera, not convinced, pointed at a jacket and questioned, "Then why is his jacket here??"
