Episode 6: Undercover Allies: The Race to Rescue Love

Three days had passed since the intense showdown, and the dust was beginning to settle. Ahn Aera reached out to Hwa Yeong, checking on her well-being and the aftermath of their recent mission.

Ahn Aera, now texting Hwa Yeong, curiously messaged, "I would've texted you earlier, but I couldn't... Su-Bin got hurt really bad. How are you? I was told you got grazed by the bullet Gyeon Seok fired."

Hwa Yeong responded, keeping it casual and unperturbed, "As someone who has been shot many times, a bullet graze was nothing. Right! I can't find Haneul. Where is he now? Is he okay? Is he hurt?"

Ahn Aera assured Hwa Yeong, "He wasn't hurt as far as I know; I had to take care of Su-Bin... He hasn't woken up yet."

Hwa Yeong expressed her concern, promptly taking action, "Su-Bin? Why? What happened? Looks like I need to check through the CCTV."

Ahn Aera shared a disheartening revelation, "There was no CCTV; I checked with the workers... I can help look for him. Min Ji is here taking care of Su-Bin."

Hwa Yeong insisted on taking responsibility, "I should pay him a visit after this. No, wait, I should take care of him instead of Min Ji. I'll go right now."

Ahn Aera sought clarity, "Wae? Min Ji is his girlfriend."

Hwa Yeong justified her decision, "Okay, but he got hurt because of me, so I should be responsible. I don't mean harm to their relationship. Plus, I have no interest in him."

Ahn Aera clarified the situation, "But he didn't get hurt because of you... He got hurt because of Min Ji."

Hwa Yeong was taken aback, "Ah, wae? What exactly happened? Min Ji wasn't even there at that time."

Ahn Aera unveiled another dire predicament, "She untimely called him... By the way, I found out where Haneul is. He is being held hostage by Gyeon Seok's subordinates."

Hwa Yeong was horrified by the revelation, "Ha... Haneul? I have to find him, talk to you later."

Ahn Aera displayed her concern, "Honey, how do you find him without a location... I'm outside; get in the car."

Hwa Yeong marveled at Aera's swiftness, "Wow, that's fast."

The two women, Hwa Yeong and Ahn Aera, now sped towards Haneul's presumed location, driven by the urgency of the situation. As they approached Gyeon Seok's headquarters, the tension in the air was palpable.

Hwa Yeong, with a concerned and worried tone, exclaimed, "Oh my god! Don't tell me he's being tortured right now."

Ahn Aera couldn't help but tease, "Ok, I won't. But why do I feel like someone has feelings for Haneul."

Hwa Yeong was exasperated, "Excuse me! At this point, it is between life and death, Miss Aera."

Ahn Aera stated facts, "I need to take care of you because if something happens, I'm sure Haneul will kill me."

Hwa Yeong was puzzled, "Why would he do that to my best friend?!?! Whatever. I'm going through the vent, okay? Talk to me via the earpiece."

Ahn Aera muttered something cryptic, "If a crush dies because of a crush's BFF, then he will kill the BFF."

Hwa Yeong, not fully understanding, questioned, "What?"

Ahn Aera backtracked, "Nothing!"

Hwa Yeong pressed on, "Whatever, bye!"

As Hwa Yeong stealthily maneuvered through the ventilation system, she eventually caught sight of Haneul, who was being subjected to cruel torture. He was being tortured to tell the current location of Hwa Yeong and Ahn Aera, little did they know that they were close by.

Hwa Yeong scanned the area and then reported, "I see him! I'll just tranquilize them from up here." A sudden gunshot rang out, disrupting their conversation.

Ahn Aera, alarmed, exclaimed, "The fudge! What happened!"

Hwa Yeong, her voice tense and filled with urgency, reported, "Looks like they found me here, hihi."
