Episode 5: Digital Intrigue: The Battle for Secrets and Survival

Hwa Yeong pondered her situation, texting her thoughts, "Am I not dead to him?"

Ahn Aera replied, "He saw Haneul."

Hwa Yeong pressed for answers, "OK, so? He saw Haneul, not me?"

Ahn Aera clarified the critical detail, "He saw him carry you, but he doesn't know about the fact that you are in touch with me."

Hwa Yeong, feeling a growing sense of unease, questioned, "So now where do I go?"

Ahn Aera issued a cautious instruction, "Haneul's coming, stay where you are."

Hwa Yeong, clearly surprised, exclaimed, "HA?! How did you get in contact with him?"

Ahn Aera responded with a hint of mystery, "What are my skills, hun? Also, he doesn't know I am Aera. He thinks I am someone else. Don't tell him."

Hwa Yeong disclosed a recent development, "I asked him to go to the barbecue place."

Ahn Aera, intrigued, inquired further, "BBQ place?? Wae?"

Hwa Yeong kept her answer cryptic, "You will find out soon... It's kind of awkward in here."

Ahn Aera, puzzled, asked, "Awkward?? WDYM???"

Hwa Yeong described the atmosphere in the car, "We are in the car; the radio is not on, and he is looking at the road. It's kind of getting hot in here."

Ahn Aera swiftly provided a solution, "Turn on the radio and decrease the AC temperature."

Hwa Yeong followed her advice, switching on the radio. An unrequited love song filled the car.

Hwa Yeong acknowledged her timing, "I put the radio on at a wrong time."

Ahn Aera, confused by it, asked "What do you mean?"

Hwa Yeong admitted, "A love song is playing."

Ahn Aera ,still confused, questioned "So???"

Hwa Yeong hesitated before elaborating, "It's lyrics... they are just..."

Ahn Aera caught on and cheered her on, "Oh, I get it... Fighting!!"

After a while, Ahn Aera changed the subject, "Your company is in my hands now; I want your will."

Hwa Yeong remained silent, her thoughts concealed.

Aera from another device intervened with a warning: "Don't tell him where your will is."

Hwa Yeong, bewildered, asked, "Him? Who?"

Ahn Aera disclosed the identity, "Gyeon Seok... he has my phone... he found out. I'm at Su-Bin's place."

Hwa Yeong acknowledged the situation, "Got it!"

Ahn Aera further revealed the gravity of the matter, "He got rid of the evidence and wants to take over my company too."

Hwa Yeong expressed her concern, "Ah!! That's too bad. At this point, he's going to take over the world! I have to stop him!"

Ahn Aera confirmed their plan, "Yeah, Su-Bin and I are headed over to you."

As Gyeon Seok traced Ahn Aera's hacking imprints to Hwa Yeong's location, he rode towards her. Upon arriving, he began searching for her.

Meanwhile, Haneul and Hwa Yeong reached the barbecue place, only to find Gyeon Seok's subordinates lurking around.

Hwa Yeong decided to get out of the car to take action. However, one of Gyeon Seok's subordinates came dangerously close, causing her to hide in a box.

In a tense moment, she reached out to Ahn Aera for support, she texted "Aera, I kind of need backup here... The thing is my will is hidden here, I came to retrieve it, and I see Gyeon Seok and his subordinates here."

Ahn Aera assured her, "I'm almost there..."

Hwa Yeong summoned her courage, jumped out of the box, and prepared for a confrontation with Gyeon Seok and his subordinates, outnumbered five to one.

Ahn Aera and Su-Bin raced towards Hwa Yeong to provide assistance.

Ahn Aera shouted to Hwa Yeong, throwing a gun at her, "Here! Use it!"

Hwa Yeong, panting heavily after the intense fight, responded, "That's a little late. (Pants) Got them! All out! (Pants) Now it's just me and him. I lost all my energy, and he's too strong for me. I can't fight him alone. Quick! Help me!"

Ahn Aera urgently called for Haneul's assistance, "Haneul! Haneul! Help Hwa Yeong! Please!"
