jeanie picked taylor up and they listened to Frank Ocean for the ten minutes that it took to get back to their house. taylor told her mom she didn't feel like talking about what happened but she'd probably feel better after the dinner and she'd tell her then.

taylor was upset, but she wasn't about to miss out on a free dinner with the team and a chance to bond with them. she wouldn't miss out on it over a boy, especially one she wasn't even dating at the time.

once they arrived at the house, taylor went upstairs and took her makeup off. she looked around the room for her laptop, and upon finding it, she opened it and turned on shameless. shameless played in the background while she got ready for the second time that day.

once she was done with her makeup she redid her slick backed ponytail since she didn't like the looks of it anymore. she still had around 40 minutes before she had to go the dinner so she spent that with noah, talking about what she should do about the situation at hand.

"so do you know who this girl is? the one he made out with?" noah asked her. taylor shook her head, "no i don't, i guess i could try to find out but i don't know how'd i'd do that without talking to nelson about it. and why would i want to do that anyways?" she asked confused.

"well you could ask her how it felt. like if she felt like he really wanted to do it or if he just wanted to touch up on girl. i mean it was literally like what? 3 am?" noah replied, peeling the wrapper of a red jolly rancher before popping it into his mouth. taylor thought about it but ultimately decided that that wasn't nelson's intention. it didn't feel like that with her so it probably didn't feel like it with the other girl.

she shrugged, "i guess that could be true but that just doesn't feel right. it just doesn't sound right." she answered. noah shrugged, "hey i'm just telling you what i think. you came to me after all."

taylor stood up, planning to go downstairs and grab a gatorade before she'd hop in the car to head to the dinner. "whatever." she mumbled. noah stood up as well, "wait tay, you want something to get your mind off of him?" he asked, raising his eyebrows as he smirked.

she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. she did want something to get her mind off nelson. she felt like she was taking the situation too far, being too dramatic about it. they weren't even dating! she felt embarrassed by it all.

she nodded, "yeah?" she replied.

"i'm sneaking out tonight, wanna join?" he offered. taylor stood there, not really knowing what to do or say. she didn't want to sneak out, turn into noah and go against her mom's rules. but she did want to stop thinking about nelson.

she hesitated. noah sighed, "c'mon! it'll be fun," he urged her, stretching out the n. "i'll be with you the whole time and we'll get back into the house without mom knowing." he pushed.

she narrowed her eyes at him, "where would we go, what would we do, and who would be there?" she questioned. noah stepped forward, he knew he could get her to come. "i'm going to this small party, nothing too much. cops won't be alerted, no one will know about it besides the people coming. it's literally in the middle of no where so neither of us will get in trouble, i can promise you that. and i know that some of my friends are gonna be there. dylan is gonna be there, umm probably like emma as well. ooh i know jareth will be there, olivia, teegan's older brother i forgot his name though, travis, and a few other people but you don't really know them."

taylor bit her bottom lip, she wanted to go. she honestly wanted to feel what it'd be like to be wasted or high, even though she would 100% feel guilty about it afterwards. she sighed, "i don't know noah."

"baylen will be there."

taylor didn't say anything. why did noah think just because baylen was gonna be there means she'll go? she felt slightly offended by his comment. she also doubted his comment, she never looked at baylen as the type of person to go to these type of things.
