taylor was upstairs now. she finished her food and she was getting ready. she lit up a pink candle that smelled like roses because she loved the smell.

she did her makeup and her hair before moving on to picking out her outfit. she slipped on some blue shorts and a loose, black t-shirt. she but on black socks and put on her normal jewelry.

she didn't want to get too dressed up because she knew nelson wouldn't be either.

she heard her phone ring so she grabbed it. nelson was facetiming her, she answered, keeping her face in frame this time.

nelson was in his room, "ohh you got all ready for me?" nelson joked. taylor rolled her eyes playfully, "i got ready so i can look back on the photos i'm gonna take and i won't look atrocious." taylor explained.

nelson laughed, "you look pretty with or without makeup twin. it's alright."

"twin?"

nelson nodded his head before furrowing his eyebrows, "no? should i not call you twin? i'll call you something else." taylor shook her head, "no, no. it's all good. you can call me twin." she slightly laughed.

nelson shook his head as well, "yeah, no. i've heard your team and a few other people call you tay. i'll call you that. actually wait no, what's your last name again?" he asked her. "it's sloan."

"sloan, sloan, sloan," he spoke as he tried to think of a nickname to call her that related to her last name. "slosh. i'm gonna call you slosh."

taylor gave him a weird look through the phone, "slosh? umm i think not." she replied, slightly smiling at the weird nickname he came up with. "sloan, slosh. they're similar." nelson spoke up.

taylor shook her head as she smiled, "they're not alike at all but okay," she replied. "when are you gonna come?" she asked.

"oh you just really want to see me, huh? it hasn't even been an hour yet slosh." nelson responded. taylor furrowed her eyebrows, "that's such a weird nickname," she added.

taylor liked how nelson picked out a nickname for her and was gonna call her it, but she much rather prefer to be called tay or something other than slosh.

"just call me tay."

nelson shook his head, "no, the fuck? it had to be a special nickname that no one else has thought of before." he explained. taylor raised her eyebrows, "yeah, well i'm sure no one has thought of 'slosh' before." she mumbled.

nelson smiled, "exactly! that's what i was going for." he replied.

they finished the call and taylor hung up. nelson decided to come earlier than they planned because both of the teens were ready.

taylor went and told her mom before running back upstairs to her room to watch tiktok before nelson arrived.

eventually she heard their doorbell ring and the sound of the door opening and closing. she could hear nelson's voice as he talked to jeanie and noah, taylor hearing laughter a few times.

she went to open her door but was met by nelson already standing outside of it. he grinned, "hey slosh." he spoke, pulling her into a hug.

she groaned before hugging him back, "i told you not to call me that, nelson." she spoke. they pulled apart and nelson began walking around her room before jumping onto her bed. he kicked off his shoes and sprawled out across the soft mattress.
