Before heading back to his room to change Naruto snuck into Menma's room and found his phone, deleting the video of Rock Lee and Sasuke. He then woke up Hinata and told her about Kiba's location he was still on the phone and was scolded by her as he drunkenly apologized.

They woke up both Gaara and Shikamaru as well and the four made their way out of the house and into the beginning of dusk to find him and finally taking him back home.

When they finally did retrieve him though he was absolutely wasted and hysterical. It took all four of them to bring him to the car despite him fighting them off as Gaara and Shikamaru shielded Hinata from Kiba doing helicopter and it was only when they said Naruto's name did he stop.

He also passed out, but that was only after hearing Naruto's name calmed his nerves.

The ride back was quiet as expected as there was a lot all three of them wanted to say to Naruto but with everything happening they wanted to be as cautious as possible. It was only the second to last of their day and quite frankly they were all exhausted and couldn't believe all that transpired in just two weeks.

Naruto glanced at Kiba ever so often in the car as he laid his head on Hinata's lap. Not even the pungent scent of alcohol and musk seemed to bother him as he looked at the brunette, he seemed so at peace while he slept in comparison to himself that was always restless.

He wondered if that's how well he's been off without him, peaceful and content. It's hard for him not to feel that way despite what he said earlier to him, he just looked happier.

"Guys, I know there's a lot on your minds right now, but for the sake of all things good can you please roll down your windows. I can smell Kiba's ballsack from the front seat and it's not pleasant." Shikamaru begged as he practically stuck his head out the window causing the other three to chuckle, slightly lightening up the mood.

"Always can count on you, Shikamaru." Gaara smiled as they all rolled down their windows and continued the journey quietly.

Once they were back Hinata helped Kiba get freshened up while Naruto sat downstairs in his own pity. He blamed himself for everything but also told himself that he deserved it because Kiba should be happy with who he wants just like how he's happy with Sasuke.

Or at least he thinks he's happy with Sasuke.

Some time after Gaara and Shikamaru entered the room and sat on either side of him. He knew this was coming eventually and it wasn't like they wouldn't have known about all the things that have transpired throughout the two weeks.

Though he wondered if they knew about Rock Lee and Sasuke all this time as well.

"You okay?" Gaara asked first, just testing the ice before going forward.

"Define okay." Naruto replied without of a trace of humor on his face.

"A state in which someone feels satisfactory, but not necessarily good." Shikamaru explained earning a glance from the duo before smiling to himself.

"Then that should explain it."

"Naruto, what's been happening with you lately? You haven't been yourself and-"

"Can we not...I've already had this talk with Menma and Naruko."

"That was hardly a talk and nothing good came out of that, man." Shikamaru reminded him, rendering the blonde quiet.
