"Vincent, seriously. Move." I repeat for the third time.
Clearly Vince didn't take me seriously considering he was still moving back and forth in the doorway, blocking me from leaving the kitchen.
I suck my teeth and start to laugh. "Dude moveee! I have to pee!" I stomp.
"Movveeee I have to pee!" He mocks me, including my pouty stomp. He falls out in laughter and finally moves out the way as I literally run to the bathroom.
Okay I know what you're thinking. Girl you just said you weren't dealing with him and deleted the message thread, how'd did yall end up together?
Ignoring someone is 10x harder when they work down the street from you.
He gave me one day of stubborn silence (which was totally fine with me because I had no intentions on talking to him anyway), one day of blowing up my phone with all types of cries, pleas and threats, and one day of "anonymous" gift giving before he spent the next 3 days in and out my shop every chance he could get until I finally spoke to him.
I done told you bout that chasing shit, I ain't gone keep doing it fa real shawt-Kaylynn.
I could hear his voice in my head again from the day conversation we had that day.
I must admit, I kind of gave a slight thing for Vincent. He makes me so.. so... unexplainable. I feel like he brings out the more submissive side of me, while still catching all the hell and attitude in the world. It's like he knows how to take it and tame it with ease, but boy do I hate when he gives it back.
I've learned a little more about him and his life, as he has with mine. He still hasn't touched on anything dealing with his mom though, which I'm very curious about.
"Say big head, you gone stay with me tonight?" He leans in the door frame of the bathroom, touching the top of it with his long, muscular arm as I dry my hands off.
"No." I chuckled.
"No?" He quickly repeated, sounding offended.
"I'm not sleeping in that bed with you. One, I only sleep with men I'm having sex with. Two, I don't know how many stank lil girls you've had in and out this bachelor pad."
"Stop playing with me" he grabs a small beard comb off the counter and throws it at me. "I don't even be having girls over here fa real, do my dirt at my partna house." He laughs, earning a side eye from me.
"How many niggas you having sex with?" He abruptly asks.
"Excuse me?" I ask, taken aback.
"How many niggas you having sex with?" He repeats in the same flat tone.
"None of your business"
"Every time you know you bout to say something to get me tight you swear it's not my business." He slightly snaps.
"Vincent I don't give a damn about 'getting you tight' ok."
"Kaylynn."
"Vincent."
"Don't piss me off."
"Don't get pissed off."
If looks could kill, I would've literally exploded at that moment.
He held his death glare for a moment before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He turned around and sat on the couch, opening a Mike Epps special on Netflix.
For the next hour and 17 minutes, we sat in pure silence. Well not silence. Mike Epps was suddenly funnier than God. So between Vince's random fits of laughter and obnoxiously loud sips of an extra large drink, we were sitting in silence. On opposite ends on the couch. A message from Jason rolls in at the top of my screen, distracting me from TikTok.

Me
Try me 😉"The fuck you texting??" The sudden sound of Vincent's deep voice made me slightly jump as I had fallen into my own world from his silence.
Jason sends a 😘 emoji back and I heart message before acknowledging Vincent.
"If that's the first thing you can think to say to me after ignoring me for 2 hours you can keep it." I say dryly.
"Kay-" he cuts himself off to take a deep breath. "Why are you such an asshole every second of the day?" He asks seriously.
"Me??!! I'm the rude one?!" You're literally rude as f*ck damn near everyday! For no reason at all! You act like a maniac half the time, changing moods like you're schizophrenic! You—" I stop myself mid sentence, now hearing just how crazy he sounds out loud. "You know what.." I start collecting my few things off the table.
"Where you goin??" Vincent instantly asks.
"Home." I simply answer.
