"We have to run! Mitzi, Falari, grab the children and get out of here!"
"We can't leave our homeland!" Mitzi cried desperately. "There has to be a way! We - we can stop the Titans by ourselves, or - or we'll ask the dwarves for help, or we can-"
"Mitzi, I told you to run!" Felori hissed. "Mitzi, I told you. Our home is gone."
"You can't really believe that," Mitzi snapped. "All this, laying waste to ruin? The Copperstones... Oh, Felori, we can't leave them behind!"
"They're built in to this blasted place! We can't take them!" Felori snarled.
"We'll die, Felori." Mitzi spoke quietly. "On our own out there, with no one to help us?"
"You will have help," Felori snapped. Well, probably, he thought to himself.
"From who?" Mitzi's eyes were searching, wanting an answer. "We won't even have magic anymore! None of us are used to being without magic!"
"Then find a kind that is," Felori said.
"What kind? The dwarves and ogres and elves and pixies all have their own magic! Even the trolls have some kind, and-"
"I don't mean the Magical Creatures, Mitzi. I mean the humans."

Mitzi lay her amulet on the cold stone of a grassy forest. Someone would find it, someone would come save them, she was sure. But could the humans even stop the Titans?
She held the amulet close to her, pouring what little magic she had left into it. She'd been away from the Copperstones for too long, and her magic was seeping away from her, but she poured everything she had into that precious amulet.
Someone would come save them. Felori had been sure of it. Mitzi grasped the amulet in her palms for the last time.
"Come save us," Mitzi whispered, and her words engraved themselves into the back of the amulet. "Please."
Then she used the remaining scraps of her magic to send her back to the Land of Mistique.
