In the Spooky Forest, far away from Magnolia, the two fairies emerged from the woods, their clothes roughed up from what went down in there, after finishing the investigation, with the tip given to them. "DAMN IT!" Nyx crushed a few trees nearby, out of anger, with her bare hands, without sparing much of a glance at them.

She was breathing, heavily, vexed, immensely, by the outcome of today's outing, while on the other hand, Ash, currently in his secondary form, sighed at his partner's mood, used to it already. "No need to take your anger out on the trees, Nyx. It was just another dead end," He tries to soothe her, waiting for her to keep walking down the trail.

The pink-haired mage exhaled, softly, collecting herself, and carried on down the path, leading them to a village not too far from the Spooky Forest. "I know, I know, Ash. It was no one's fault. It's just.....frustrating with the lack of progress we are getting. So far, there isn't a trace of dragons in Fiore, and it's discouraging," Nyx halts in her tracks settles on a boulder nearby, and lets out a disheartening puff from her lips. She looks up to the blank blue sky, the puffy white clouds floating at such a slow pace, so many thoughts racing through her head, yet it doesn't derail her from her top priority; finding Igneel. "Well, no use in wallowing in disappointment," She hops off the boulder, a determined expression forms on her face. "Why don't we take a break from the dragon hunting, Ash, and go take on a job? A new change of scenery is good for the two of us, don't you say?"

Upon seeing his partner's changed attitude, Ash couldn't help but beam a small grin. "Heh, why not? It's been a while since we went on a job, and I am starting to miss the guild anyway, especially Mira's cooking," He starts to imagine their friend's cooking, anxious to taste her food again.

"Of course you are, and besides it's been a few days since the incident at the Tower of Heaven and a few weeks since we returned to the guild. It's about time we head back before we get an earful from Gramps, as usual," She and Ash began to yearn for their guild, and the two settled with one decision to head back home. "Alright! Let's go back home, Ash! Next stop, Fairy Tail!"

Ash nodded, content to be coming home. "By the way, remember that I am not flying you to Magnolia. We are taking the train, per the bet we made before we left Akane," He heard his partner curse, lowly, and rolled his eyes at her attitude. "I won the bet Nyx, so deal with it, or I won't help you out of the train,"
