I was singing and dancing with joy in my heart when I found out I got hired for my first job. It was such an exciting moment!

I found myself stuck at home for the past one year, going through the same routine of eating, playing, and sleeping. I was longing for a change, for something more fulfilling.

My boss called me and told me to meet him tomorrow. He said we were going to Manila for an immersion. The van wouldn't wait for me, so it was now or never. Almost two thousand people tried to secure the position, I'm lucky to be included among the chosen six.

As I was engrossed in playing Mobile Legends, trying to make the most of the end of the season, I suddenly realized that the sun had risen. I hadn't slept enough and I felt exhausted, which wasn't the best way to start my first day of work. My head and eyes felt heavy, but I knew I had to push through.

When I finally met my boss, he welcomed me for the 10-hour trip from Bicol to Manila. It was going to be a long ride, but I was ready for the adventure.

"Later, you'll get to meet other Mobile Legends players," my boss said. "And after a week of immersion, we'll be flying to Thailand." Those were his last words before I peacefully dozed off at the back of the white van.
