Blood Sisters

Chapter 2

When we got to the apartment I was exhausted. I killed three strigoi and a lot of psi hounds.

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. I went over to the kitchen and Oscar hissed at me.

"Thanks for the greeting you stupid cat." He then started hissing at something outside. I looked and saw a guardian.

And boy let me tell you, he was hot. I wouldn't date him though. Not hot enough.

I ran out of the kitchen and found Lissa. She was on her bed.

"Liss we need to get out of here now! The guardians have found us." Thankfully I trained today.

Lissa started to pack her things. After she was done I went to my room and started packing.

In a spare duffle bag I have knives, stakes, and a couple guns like shot guns, A-K 47's, rifles, and a pistol. Yes I am prepared for these things. I strapped two knives to my thighs if I needed them. When I was done packing I grabbed my keys and ran to my Jeep Wrangler.

We were just about to get there when we were ambushed by guardians.

One went to grab Lissa but I knocked her off her feet. Another one went to grab Liss, but I protected her. I will protect her until my last breath.

When I took every guardian down I was barely out of breath. Then someone started walking to us.

"I am Dimitri Belikov, and I am here to take you Vasilisa Dragomir and Rosemarie Hathaway back to the academy."

"Like hell you will. I will believe it when hell freezes over."

'Lissa slowly walk to the jeep. If it means you leaving me do it. I have keys.' I told her through the bond.

'No, I am not leaving you here to deal with Mr. Sexy by yourself. I am staying and that is final.' Lissa said back through the bond.

Guardian Belikov was studying us with curiosity. He had lust in his eyes when he looked at me. But I kept my mask on and my eyes stone hard and cold. He wasn't going to get to me.

"Are you done studying us or are you going to fight me?"

He ran to me but I was ready. I him and kicked him in the back of the knees.

He came back and punched me in the face. I rebounded and kicked him in the stomach. He aimed his next punch for my chest. When he punched I caught his hand and flipped him. He got right back up.

He landed his next punch to my stomach. I fell to the floor making him think I gave up. But I don't give up that easily.

I turned and kicked his feet out from under him. I took my chance and got up. I waited for his next attack. He did the same thing that I did, but I dodged his legs. Foolish person, never do the same attack your opponent does. I was getting really tired.

I was out of breath from this battle. I was just about to land on my butt from exhaustion, but he dragged me to an SUV. Other guardians took Lissa to the same SUV that I am in. They put her in the back seat. Two guardians got in the back with her. I got the front with guardian Belikov. He was a very silent guardian. Like he locked himself off from the other guardians. It was like he locked his emotions away.

A hour in the ride he scratched his neck and I saw how many strigoi he has killed. Six in all. I have killed half of that, three.

"So you have killed six strigoi."

"Yes."

"I killed three strigoi back there."

"At least you are alive. That is all that counts right now."
