It's been so long since it happened, and so many people have forgotten the sacrifices that have been made to make inazuma such a beautiful nation. I will never forget her, I couldn't after all. I was standing on the grounds of the grand narukami shrine, gazing up at the thunder sakura my best friend and sister had given their lives to grow and protect.

My melancholy thoughts were interrupted by a polite cough. "Ahem, Lady Yae? Do you have a moment to talk?"

I looked over my shoulder to see who had spoken so politely, not surprisingly, it was the adoptive descendant of Kujou.

"Ah Kujou Sara, i suppose you stopped by either because you missed me, or you missed my recounting the Kujou bloodline."
Sara pinked slightly at that and gave a stiff nod, "I cannot deny that hearing your detailed accounts of past generals that also served under the almighty shogun has always been interesting but... that is not the only reason i came by today. I have been receiving news of an increased amount of monster attacks from around the Kamisato estate."

"Oh, how interesting, and has there been any casualties due to this surprising spike of danger?" Sara shook her head no, "there has been no know casualties yet but I'd like to put a stop to this before that can happen. Another interesting fact is that the reports have all been said that the monsters seemed like they were being drawn to something or someone."

"And," i looked back at Sara, uninterested, "how does this effect, or matter to me?" Sara began to explain in her important general, listen to me voice. "I am normally able to schedule appointments and meetings with the shogun, but recently, she has been declining my requests for any sort of appointment. She keeps telling me that she is busy or thinking about other topics."

"And so, you thought that I of all people would be able to relay your concerns to her majesty the Raiden Shogun."

Sara stood up straighter, "This report is of a high degree of importance and i feel it should be taken up to the Shogun for proper guidance and consideration."

She paused, waiting for me to take the hint, but i just stood there, pretending to busy proofreading one of the newest light novels the Yae publishing house.

Sara looked at me again, slightly exasperated. "Lady Yae," she said, sighing, "I need this report to be brought to someone further up the chain of command. I don't want to bother the shogun any more than you do, but she is the only one i can reach at this point."

Satisfied with myself, i closed the book i has been pretending to read and turned my full attention to Sara. "I understand and i will give this dilemma to the shoguns knowledge. Do you happen to have the written report on you?"

The expressions on Sara's face was that of one of a chicken told that it wasn't going to be made into soup the next day, "Yes, i have the report as well as all of the related information right here." She said as she handed me a small portfolio.

I skimmed through its contents and, yes, Sara was correct, the report did look concerning. Not enough for me to apologize for my earlier teasing though.

"I'll tell you what, Sara," I said, placing the portfolio on one of the railings around the grand narukami shrine. "It's getting late today, but i will bring this to the shogun toot sweet tomorrow morning. In the meantime, I believe i was telling you about a few of the generals that served the Inazuman army before you."

"Oh i would love-" she paused, clearing her throat, "Ahem, i would much enjoy hearing of them, these tales help me see what i can do to improve my approach."

"Mhm, yes of course they do." I had paused because i had just remembered what commander i had promised to tell her about next. "er.. Lady Yae? I didn't say anything wrong did I?"

It wasn't that i minded telling Sara about her... it was just that speacial to me....

"I can leave now if i am causing you any trouble here." I blinked snapping back to the present, "Don't be silly, Sara, i would love nothing more than to tell you about this next one."

I sat daintily down on one of the cushions that were brought for us by the other shrine maidens, motioning for her to sit down next to me.

"Today I want to tell you of a commander that was truly wise, strong in both her body and her mind, and with the most caring heart celestia has ever seen."

"Sara, I want to tell you about a commander called Yae Tamiko."
