This is not involving the plot of the book whatsoever, I just wanted to make a cute lil chapter for yall. Consider it a Christmas present!
3rd person POV:
The bright sun rays flashed on the window, snow covering most of the land.
Sun groaned, waking up and stretching. He looked at his phone to see it was Christmas! Sun sighed, getting up. Getting older, Christmas wasn't all that exciting. It was hard for him and his family on Christmas.
Since their father and mother divorced, Sun and his other siblings lived with their dad. And let's just say, their dad didn't like him and Moon that much.
So, Christmas wasn't really fun. Sun got up to see Eclipse sitting down at the counter on his phone. He also saw that there was a present there. Eclipse looked up from his phone, looking to Sun. He smirked, "Well, look who finally woke up~" Eclipse teased, chuckling slightly.
Sun rolled his eyes, sitting down with Eclipse. "Who's that for?" Sun asked, pointing at the gift on the counter. Eclipse looked at it, his whole demeanor changed. "Oh um....it's for you..."
Sun's eyes widened. He felt his face flushing a bit. "For me?" Sun said surprised, he never thought that Eclipse would ever get him a present. "...yes...uh, you can open it if you want..." Eclipse said, he looked a bit awkward.
Sun blinked, but he eventually opened the gift. Once he ripped off the wrapping, he opened the box. It revealed a hoodie....the same hoodie that Sun stole from Eclipse one day.
Sun's face turned red, looking at Eclipse. "Um....I uh saw you wearing it when you were sleeping on the couch...I mean, I don't wear it that often so I might as well give it to you....and I wanted to get you something cause you've just been nice to me even from all the shitty things I did so-" "Thank you..." Sun interrupted Eclipse, smiling. Eclipse blushed a bit, nodding.
"Your welcome..." Eclipse said, smiling as well. Sun heard his phone ding from the couch, he went to go see.
It was a message from Moon. It said that Earth came to his dorm for a little family reunion. Sun responded saying that he'll come over.
Sun went back over to Eclipse. "Um, I'm going to go to Moon's room to see Earth. I'll come back later!" Sun explained. Eclipse nodded. "Alright, have fun." Sun smiled.
"Oh, one more thing..." Sun walked over to Eclipse, giving him a peck on the cheek. Eclipse's face turned red. Sun then walked to the door, saying bye one more time.
Sun then left, leaving Eclipse flabbergasted.
