"This is a date, isn't it?"

"What? No... Of course, not."

"Say that to me while looking at my face again."

"I refuse."

"...."

I sighed while scratching the back of my head before moving my attention to the girl beside me.

(If it's not a date, then why did you even use that make up as well as wear the clothes that I bought for you a few days ago...)

My thoughts didn't become words as I just kept staring at her current appearance.

Long blonde hair, with some of it being turned into white albeit not being the dominant color overall. Bright blue eyes that had a calm demeanor behind their gaze. As well as the casual outdoor clothes, which had a mixture of white, blue, and even black on some minor areas.

"..."

Oh, she was staring at me. I wonder why.

"..."

Hmm, she kept doing it. I wonder why.

"..."

(...she won't stop until I call her pretty, won't she?)

A sigh left my mouth before I met her gaze and told my opinion.

"You look quite pretty, tonight."

"Mhm, I know."

"..."
She knew.

(Right... Of course, she does, she has a normal sense of fashion now, after all.)

Nonetheless, I chuckled for a bit as I realized that saying that in itself took some confidence and even shamelessness.

"You look good as well tonight, Dear."

"Oh, I know. I specifically used the same perfume when I proposed, after all."

"You did? I didn't even realize."

"..."

(She's winning this game, I'm calling it yet I have nothing to comment about it.)

Once again, I just sighed before grabbing her hand and leading the way. She didn't say anything about it as she followed my footsteps before matching our pace together.

"So, where do you want to go?"

"I don't know."

"..."

(I've studied about the existence of girls for almost my whole youth and adding the fact that I've known her for more than a few years now, I can totally say for sure that she already had a place in her mind but refused to say it out loud for some unknown reason. I'm sure of it!)

Pondering over the places that we'd usually gone to; I took a look around us to get a rough idea of what the theme was for tonight's date.

It was a cold night. Well, that was to be expected as snowfall tends to happen more at night. But anyway, a snowfall at night.

"...ah."

Suddenly, I remembered something. Meanwhile, she seemed interested in why I made that soft voice as she glanced at me from the corner of her eyes.

"Well... how about we eat first?"

"Sounds good."

She nodded.
