Chapter 7

Chapter 7

Rose's POV

We all were waiting for the interviewer person to get here. I sighed and sat down at the table way from Chris. I knew that my heart was pounding every time we were close to one another. I sighed and looked away from him. I knew I was still in love with him. Yet I'm not sure if I wanted to go down that path again. 

"Jake where is this person who was supposed to be interviewing us?" Asked Andy.

Andy told me that this person went through Jake before their manger. I knew that there were proper ways to set up interviews and what not. Jake looked at us and said, "They just arrived. I'm sorry man, I know she told me what time and told our manger the time too, but I guess that she was running late."

"It's all good man. We know that she would be here sooner or later. Luck is on her side since we don't have to perform tonight." Said CC.

It was true. It was our off day. We pulled to a rest stop until when we have to head out. I felt eyes on me and when I looked up Chris looked away from me. I knew he was watching me. He always watched me, even when I'm on stage he would watch me. 

"Rose, are you going to be okay with this interview?" Asked Jake as he walked over and sat next to me. 

I smiled at him and said, "I've done interviews with you all before. I should be fine."

CC laughed and said, "But you are in your own band now, so it'll be different."

Dean laughed and said, "Don't forget we done interviews before and she was good at them, but this time we'll be filmed."

I sighed and said, "It'll be all good. If I can't answer a question, I'll say pass or something like that. I have questions that I refuse to answer. One of them is my nonexistent love life."

I heard Chris cough and he said, "What about you and Purdy boy. I head you talking to him the other night when you were outside."

I froze, the guys knew I still talked with Ash. I never wanted that to be a secret. But Ash and I were only good friends, and he was getting better and writing his own songs. He hasn't recorded anything yet. Yet he would be working on designs and what not. We didn't talk about our love life to one another. Still, he knew I was still in love with Chris after everything that Chris has said to me. It hurt but I did harden my heart because I've been asked out to dates, but I turned everyone down.
