"Jenna!!" Emma said waving at her, quickly running to her, Jenna smiled at her friend waving back "Hey Em's" Emma smiled as she caught her breath "So...i've been..okay hold on i'm a bit nervous" She said giggling, Jenna smiled at her "Take your time" She nodded, Emma whipped her sweaty palms on her pants as she let out a deep breath shutting her eyes in the process
"I'm super nervous so i'm just gonna say this, Jenna go on a date with me?"
Jenna's eyes widen, not expecting this at all, she didn't really know what to say...she did like Emma but as a friend only
"Hi Jenna! Hi Emma!" Y/n said stopping right next to Emma smiling at the both of them, Jenna's eyes sparkled at the sight of her, Emma didn't see that since she was trying so hard not to glare at the girl for popping up right now
"So...? " Emma said biting her lip at Jenna, who felt pressured, she didn't want Emma to feel bad "I...okay..." Emma jumped smiling as she pulled her in for a hug "YES!! I'll text you the details of our date" She said waving goodbye at them
Y/n frowned as she looked at Emma runoff happier than ever
Date...?
"You guys are going on a date..?" Y/n asked still a frown on her face, Jenna could see the happiness in her eyes go away quickly, the frown in her face evident, the tone and even her posture changed
"I..Yeah i guess we are" She said looking at her reaction
"Oh..." She said "I..have fun then" She said forcing a smile, Just as Jenna was about to say something Y/n's phone went off, She couldn't see the caller on her screen
"Hello Mal" She said in a serious tone, the frown on her face still there
Who the fuck was Mal??? Jenna thought
"What??? Okay, I'll be right there" She said hanging up "i'll see you around Jenna" Y/n said sadly, she turned around not waiting for her to say goodbye, she walked very quickly to the exit
Jenna made her way to first period. She frowned when she didn't see Y/n there in her usual spot, which was right next to her desk, did she leave? She thought Mal was from school?
She just couldn't get out of her head the image of her she literally turned off right in front of her... Did she like her back too?
"Sup bitchesss" Billie said as she sat down next to Jenna, Olivia and Conan said hi to her but Jenna kept quiet, "Where's Emma?" She asked "I really don't know " Conan said looking around as he shrugged his shoulders "And where's Y/n? " Olivia asked, but it was more directed to Jenna, The three looked at her "I don't know..guys i need your opinion" Jenna asked finally looking up at them "Are you okay?" Billie asked noticing the tone in her voice, Jenna shrugged "I...so Emma asked me out"
Olivia spat her juice as she coughed, Conan looked at her with wide eyes and Billie gasped, not believing she really had the guts to ask her
"What??? Emma??" Conan said shocked "I was shocked too" Jenna said frowning "Did you say yes??" Billie asked eager to know and why Emma didn't text her telling her what happened "I...i said okay i really didn't know how to say no you know? And the look on her face.. I just couldn't... i -"
"But don't you have the biggest crush on Y/n?" Olivia pointed out in a question, Jenna nodded "Yeah...and she was there when I told Emma yes basically and...guys i've never seen her so down...and sad..."
The three gasped
"She likes you!" They all said at the same time
"HOLYYY SHIT A LOVE TRIANGLE " Billie said drumming the table
"Wait, where is she??" Conan asked, looking around the cafeteria again frowning "Did she like, leave school because you're going out with Emma?" He asked "Probably was too sad to be here that would make total sense" Olivia said, and it did make total sense "She got a call before leaving, someone named Mal" Jenna said with a hint of jealousy rolling her eyes
"So like what are you gonna do?" Billie asked as she rested her hands under her chin
"I don't know...like i don't want to say no to Emma and give her false hope..but i don't know i felt so pressured...then ughhhh " She said slamming her forehead on the table "Help me out"
"I think you should go on the date with Emma and at the end tell her what you really feel, i'm sure she'll understand as long as your honest" Conan said smiling softly at her, Olivia nodded "I agree, plus at least she'll be happy she got a date with you" She added "Yeah that's the best option and for your crush just be honest too, but i do think you'll have to tell her that you like her to clear everything up i guess" Billie said pulling her in for a hug
Jenna loved her friends so much .
"What's wrong Malphas? " Lucifer said as she got to hell as fast as she could, Malphas who was pacing around lit up seeing his master return
"We believe that what's stealing the souls is an angel..." Lucifer gasped, in shock "What??" "But since it can no longer steal souls...its stealing demons souls..." Lucifer sat down on her throne, taking in what she had just heard
"It wants power" She said realizing what it wanted
"How do we know its an angel?"
"A demon survivor saw wings" He said softly, feeling scared and worried
"Seems like I'll have to get my brother involved..." She said rubbing her forehead
"Do not trust them fully...you never know"
Lucifer thought of Jenna
"Have dark angels guard Jenna and the Ortega's, make sure nothing happens to them" she ordered
Malphas nodded quickly as he vanished
Lucifer felt her chest tighten remembering Jenna was going on a date with Emma
Maybe this Jenna didn't like her after all...
