"Imagine being made, made to be perfect, to be flawless, your Gods greatest creation " Mrs. Martinez started as she turned off the lights, turning on the projector
"You can't make a mistake, that's not what you're made for, imagine not being able to understand what is happening to you, after saying this, how does that make you feel?" She asked her students
Jenna felt sad, really sad, as she frowned, not only her, everyone did
She projected the painting 'The Fallen Angel' by Alexandre Cabanel
Y/n quickly recognized it of course, Jenna stared at Y/n'a reaction, thinking about what she was thinking
It was the year 1847
"I'd like to paint you" He told the girl, Lucifer raised an eyebrow at him, stopping as she was about to leave, They knew each other because he sold his soul to her, wanting to be a famous paintor, he was willing to do anything to make that happen, and he did"As a thank you" He said offering her a smile, but Lucifer didn't smile at all, her face neutral all the time "I don't see a point in you thanking me if i have your soul at the end, high price to pay actually" She said tilting her head at him, the smile never leaving his face as she waved her off "Still a thank you is needed, i believe no one has ever said that to you, correct?" He said pausing, Lucifer didn't answer, humans surprised her sometimes
"Of course i sold my soul to you, but thanks to that i got to do what i love most in this world, Paint, and i'll never regret it, never, please do come tomorrow so you can see your painting" Lucifer nodded as she vanished .
She did come back, curious as to what the human had done
"Ah, i see you came, just on time actually" He uncovered the painting, Lucifer tilted her head
"It must have been hard for you, being God's favorite, Your only sin was to love! Now being down here among us now, you were no no... You are so perfect, i wanted to portray that...your not so bad, i want people to see that your hurt, your sad, your disappointed
It's called, The Fallen Angel"
"Does anyone know when this was painted?" No one answered, Y/n nodded slowly
"1847" She said softly, not taking her eyes off the painting "Correct Y/n"
Jenna stared at her, seeing something behind those angelic eyes, she just couldn't know what it was, she suddenly seemed very sad, and kind of remembering something, but that could just be her seeing things
"One of the best paintings ever, it even becoming part of peoples skin, seeing as some get this tattooed on , the feelings, the stare, everything... One of Gods greatest creation...The meaning behind this, does anyone know why there's a tear? "
Again no one said anything
" It signifies his wounded pride and a sense of regret for being cast away from God's angels" She said
Y/n frowned looking at her, shaking her head
"No, it means that Lucifer is sad, hurt and disappointed, it had nothing to do with pride or being casted " She corrected, in reality, she had told the human Alexandre, the love story of how it happened, how she got kicked out...he was the only human to this day to ever know the real reason why
Jenna could hear the hurt in her voice, making her frown even more, why...? Why did she sound so sad? Why did she defend this meaning so much? It almost looked personal, The way she was so sure of her answer
"How are you so sure of that?" The teacher questioned
Y/n didn't think about that, she just answered, she hated the way they twisted the meaning of her painting, the gift from someone who at the end she cared for
"I did my research" She simply said
But Jenna wasn't buying that answer...she knew there was much more meaning behind it... and she was going to find out
Small update!Happy new year again!
