"Princess Lucinda! The king is expecting you to
be awake!" Lucinda's head maid yelled as she walked into the princess room. She went over to the window to open up the curtains.

Lucinda groaned from the sun that was beaming in her room. "It's too early..." Lucinda cried. The head maid sighed as she began walking to the princess closet.

"Why must I be awake this early? It's not a festival today is it?" Lucinda asked slowly rising up from her bed. "Because the King has very important news for you, so you need to wake." The head maid answered looking in her closet.

Lucinda sighed as she sat up in her bed. She hates mornings the most of the time.

They always involve problems and meetings.

She walked over to the vanity in her room, staring at herself in the mirror. Soon many maids walked into her room, and started doing her hair as some were setting her dress up.

"Princess, Do you think the king is going to give you a new role at this year's spring festival?" One of the maids asked to help do Lucinda's hair.

"I highly doubt he would, I mean he doesn't trust me in the slightest." Lucinda answers to the maid. She always wanted to help with the festivals as a kid, but her father always told her she was too young or not ready.

It is honestly a pain in her voice.

Once the maids were done doing her hair, they began putting her dress together. "Do you have to make it so tight?" Lucinda asked as the maids worked on her dress.

"Yes we do, you asked this all the time and my answer always stays the same," The head maid answered as she continued putting the dress together.

Once the maids were done some began leaving out of the room. Lucinda looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was in a tight curly bun with a few pieces of curls that laid on the side of her head. She wore a long white beige dress that had short puff sleeves. She had long white gloves on that almost touched the dress sleeves. She was also wearing a pearl necklace and earrings to match her tiara that was white and pearly.
