I HAD BEEN checking my emails nonstop this past week, desperate for any news on my last audition. i had just refreshed it for the sixth time today and i was starting to lose hope so i decided to shut my laptop and focus on something else for a while. "hello?" i knock on my brothers door, waiting for a response "COME IN" he yells and i open the door, remembering to shut his door behind me, something he always forgot 

"sup?" he slides one side of his headset off "i'm bored" i complain, flopping onto his bed "fuck you want me to do?" i shrug, remembering he wasn't looking at me so i use my words instead "dunno, wanna watch a couple movies together?" he sighs "yeah sure, one sec though i gotta finish my game, this walker guy keeps trying to snipe me" i laugh "so snipe him back" i say, knowing absolutely knowing nothing about the types of video games my brother plays but from the looks of it he was playing fortnite

"UGHHH" he slams his head into his palms "what happened?" i snort "he sniped me then started emoting, probably a twelve year old" i pull up disney plus whilst i wait for him to shut off his pc "so what are we actually gonna watch?" he asks flopping down on his bed next to me "horror?" i ask "dude i hate horror" i think for a second "rom com?" he suggests "you actually watch those?" i laugh as he makes up excuses "just put one on before i kick you out" "fine hold on" i switch over to netflix to put on grease, one of my personal favourites, even though i wasn't a fan of musicals i still enjoy it.

"seriously? this movies so old dude" he groans "mhm, don't care" i grab a bag of sour patch kids from his bedside table and pop a couple into my mouth before he yells out again "JOHN TRAVOLTA IS SO UGLY" i roll my eyes at his comment "oh my god dude shut up" i put a few sour patch kids in his hand and he shoves them in his mouth, continuing to talk even with his mouth full. i hear a ding and i instincively grab my phone noticing a new message
