The engagement party was a shimmering affair, held in the grand ballroom of a luxurious venue that seemed straight out of a fairy tale. The air was filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and the soft murmur of conversations as guests mingled beneath sparkling chandeliers.

As Aga and I made our entrance, hand in hand, the room erupted in applause. My heart raced with a mix of excitement and nervous energy as I scanned the room, taking in the opulent decorations and the sea of familiar faces. The guests are filled with celebrities, elite, and such.

The Muhlachs were all present, my dad can't attend the event as he has some business big trip to attend, their expressions a mix of curiosity and approval. Lana, with her usual flair for drama, was orchestrating the event, ensuring every detail was perfect. The engagement party was her canvas, and she painted it with extravagant strokes.

Aga squeezed my hand, offering a reassuring smile as we navigated through the crowd. His charm and charisma were on full display, and it was easy to see why everyone seemed enchanted by our supposed love story.

As we reached the center of the room, Lana stepped forward, a microphone in hand. The room hushed, and all eyes turned to us as she began her enthusiastic introduction.

"Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, gather around as we celebrate the engagement of Lea and Aga! It's a tale of love that has captured our hearts, and tonight, we revel in the magic of their commitment."

Aga and I exchanged a glance, our eyes conveying a shared understanding of the elaborate performance we were about to partake in. Lana continued with a brief recounting of our "romantic journey," embellishing details and weaving a narrative that surpassed even the most imaginative love stories.

Please.

As the applause died down, Aga and I were led to the center of the dance floor. The soft strains of a romantic melody filled the room, and we began to sway to the music. The dance was choreographed to perfection, each step rehearsed to create the illusion of a couple deeply in love.

In the midst of the swirling dance and the watchful eyes, I couldn't help but steal glances at Aga. His eyes held a spark of mischief.

After the dance, we were surrounded by well-wishers, each offering congratulations and words of joy. The engagement party unfolded like a dream, a surreal experience where reality and fiction danced in harmony.

Nang makita ko sila Vice at Dawn, I immediately approach them. "Hey, you two! Thanks for coming," bungad ko sa kanila.

Vice jokingly answered, "Hala, Lea! Anong nangyari at biglang may fiancé ka na?"

I laughed, nagpapanggap na kinilig. "Well, you know, love finds you when you least expect it. And apparently, it found me in the arms of Aga," sagot ko,

Dawn smiled and asked, "So, how's the charade going for you two?"

"Oh, it's a real blast. We're the talk of the town, apparently." Sakto I saw Aga nearby so I grabbed him and introduce to my friends. "Friends, this is Aga, and Aga, this is Dawn and Vice. Sila yung sinasabi ko sa'yo."

"Infairness ang gwapo, te." Vice grinned.

"Thank you. Lea told me about you two." Aga replied with a charming grin. "I must say, I feel honored to finally meet the friends who have been keeping Lea entertained with stories about my 'sudden appearance' in her life."

Vice laughed, giving Aga an approving look. "Hindi lang gwapo; May sense of humor din. Lea, you sure know how to pick 'em."

"You want a twist?" I asked them, and both of them nodded so I continue, "Remember when I told you that Dad set me up for marriage? Well, surprise, it turns out Aga is the potential husband and that's why we're here."
