Aga and I found ourselves reluctantly preparing for the social event of the season, a grand affair attended by the city's elite. We dressed in our finest attire, Aga in a tailored tuxedo and me in a stunning evening gown.

Nang makarating kami sa venue, a majestic mansion with sprawling gardens, we navigated through a sea of well-dressed attendees. The air was thick with the fragrance of expensive perfumes and the murmur of polite conversations. With practiced smiles, we exchanged pleasantries and air-kisses.

Amidst the swirl of conversations and tinkling glasses, my keen eyes spotted a familiar face across the room. 

I gently nudged Aga, "Look over there," I whispered, my eyes gleaming with recognition. "It's Diana, an old acquaintance of mine. We should go say hello."

"Sure, Babes." we gracefully maneuvered through the elegant crowd toward Diana.

As we approached, she turned, her eyes widening in recognition. "Lea! It's been ages!" she exclaimed, embracing me warmly.

I reciprocated the hug, smiling. "Diana, darling, it really has. Let me introduce you to my husband, Aga."

Aga extended his hand with a charming smile, playing his part impeccably. "Pleasure to meet you, Diana."

Diana, a socialite with a penchant for gossip, appraised Aga with a discerning gaze before responding, "Likewise, Aga. It's wonderful to see Lea settled down. You two make a stunning couple. Kailan lang?" She asked enthusiastically. Aga and I secretly exchanged glance, kung alam niya lang

"Couple days ago." I replied, and Diana's eyes sparkled with genuine happiness.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!" She exclaimed, her demeanor exuding the kind of effortless elegance that only someone deeply ingrained in the world of fashion could possess.

Habang patuloy kaming nag-uusap, an important figure caught Diana's attention across the room. With a graceful smile, she excused herself, "Lea, Aga, I'm so thrilled for you both, but I must catch up with someone urgently. Catch up tayo later!"

"No worries, we'll be around. Enjoy!" with a final air-kiss and warm wishes, she gracefully made her way through the crowd towards the prominent figure she needed to engage with. 

"Kuha ako ng drinks natin, Babes," Aga suggested, squeezing my hand gently. 

I nodded in agreement, smiling appreciatively. 

As Aga made his way to where the champagne is stationed, a voice echoed through my ear

"There's my favorite sister." She beso me

I raised my brow, "Oh, so now we're this close? And why are you still here? Akala ko babalik ka na sa Malibu pagkatapos ng wedding?"

"Chill, sis, I'm flying there tomorrow. I also need to attend this event, no. So, how are you Mrs. Muhlach?" She teased me, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at that. "Anong pakiramdam ng bagong kasal?"

"Oh, you know, just like in teleserye." I played along.

"Well, did you two do it na? Are you pregnant?"

I was stunned at her question, nakaramdam ako ng init sa mukha ko. "Lana! Seriously, you can't just ask people that, especially not in the middle of a grand event. And no, hindi ako buntis, ano ka ba?" Sabi ko habang tumitingin sa paligid. 

My god her mouth!

"Hm, excited pa naman ako. I know, we're not close but if you'll have a child in the future, I promise to be the best aunt of that kid, " Lana declared with a mischievous grin.
