Chapter 4. The Ceremony for the new King and Queen.

It had been an entire month since the wedding took place. Inuyasha daily works on his kingly business. His father pushed for him to be the best that he could be, even though for years he had gone through lessons, but now his dad was giving him his final lessons. He did not want his son to be selfish or cruel, and above all shows respect to his wife and his people.

He instructed his father that he do the ceremony shortly his father said his kingdom his rightfully after the Coronation ceremony and so soon they would celebrate ceremonially. Inuyasha prepared for this as did his wife, but it had to happen immediately.

Toga was supposed to do it right after the wedding, but he had doubts about Inuyasha being able to handle the responsibilities, so he put him through a difficult test and Inuyasha passed it. Izyoie told him it was time that he stepped down and allowed his son to take the rain it was time.

Serenity spent a lot of time with him in his bed or their bed now since they share everything now, otherwise, they haven't talked to each other that much.

But she did try to show respect and help him with understanding the people and issues a king must deal with, so he was grateful to her for her help Miroku was a wise choice for the hand of the king indeed, but now they were dressed in clothes for the ceremony and tonight they'd become the new rulers together officially.

It was officially happening. Inuyasha and Serena both walked into the halls. As others watched they both walked up to the alter.

Queen Serenity aka Serenity's mother handed over her crown in a way.

She'd still have to take care of the moon forever as long as she could until one day its responsibilities would be passed over to Serenity and her children as well, she did pray she was lucky to have more than one child so, therefore, both kingdoms remained in a peaceful alliance.

Toga was forced to finally accept and acknowledge his son's growth. He still had eyes and ears everywhere, so if his son ever was unfaithful, he'd know and he'd keep to his promises also that he'd kill anyone whom his son took into his bed who was not his wife, he told Inuyasha this as a reminder just before they entered the main hall in the throne room where he'd be getting his crown.

So, his father pointed out that just because he is the king doesn't mean he is off the hook, if he breaks his oath, he'll be sorry, and war will fall upon everyone, and their land will be turned into a wasteland once more.

Inuyasha shouted out he wouldn't break his vows Nore his oath, he swore an oath and he'd keep it.

He saw the magic on the wedding day he saw everything and realized how connected he was now to this marriage and most of all to his wife and her family bloodline, he could feel the connection he wasn't able to describe exactly in words, but he felt strong about it and he knew it was something serious and important, they were connected he knew strong magic was at work here, so he did know what he had gotten himself into, and he'd remain faithful and true to his oath as promised.

So, after that chat with his father, they both walked downstairs and into the hall. As his wife stood beside him.

"Well, shall we darling, it's time for us to take our rightful place as the new rulers, said Serenity" showing respect to him.

As he nodded his head as he looked over at her. As he lifted his arm into the air as a tradition. As she took hold of his arm as she stood beside him.
