Chapter 21

Y/N'S POV

We walk into the store, my eyes immediately going to an art set. I run over to it and Chan quickly follows behind, laughing. "This would be perfect for Hyunjin!" I shout as my eyes light up.

"Yeah, it would!" He laughs before continuing. "You have a good eye for gifts." He says, picking up the art set and placing it in our shopping cart.

I laugh at his cute comment before we start walking through the aisles, looking for gifts for the other boys.

In the end, we picked up one gift for every member and a huge box of chocolates and chips for us all to share.

Me and Chan check out with the total being $153 which almost gives me a heart attack. Thankfully I'm not paying for it. We walk out of the store and get into his car, putting the gifts into the back seat.

"So how are we going to wrap all of this?" I ask, remembering Christmas is tomorrow.

He starts driving and smiles at me. "We just have to wait until everyone is in their room tonight." He says, turning his blinker on with his vainy hand.

I nod in response even though he isn't looking at me. As it gets quiet, I turn my head to look out the window and take in the sight.

Seoul is so beautiful, especially at night. All the lights are blinding at times but they will always be pretty. We pull into the driveway quicker than I expected.

He reaches for his keys in the cup holder and pushes the button, allowing the garage door to slowly rise. At the same time, he pulls closer and closer into the garage until we come to a stop.

He shuts off the car and looks at me. "We'll keep them in here until they've gone to their rooms." He says as I nod.

We open our doors at the same time and step out, making our way back into the house. Just as I was about to walk up the stairs to his room, he pulls me off into the kitchen where none of the boys can see.

"Make sure to stay awake until I come to you." He whispers, now making eye contact with me. We're so close that our noses are almost touching. As I notice this, my heart starts to beat faster and faster.

We stay in the same spot, not moving an inch. He softly places his hand on my shoulder, his eyes drifting down to my lips.

"Bangchan!" Changbin shouts from the couch. "Did you get my protein power?!" We quickly pull away from each other, as I try to quietly catch my breath so he doesn't notice.

I literally forgot how to breathe. Chan walks into the living room, his eyes moving to Changbin. "No, sorry I forgot." He says before going back into the kitchen, stopping when he sees me.

"What?! Gosh, I told you to get it!" Changbin wines as Bangchan walks over to the sink beside me.

"Uh. I'll come to you with the wrapping paper when no one is awake." He says, grabbing a glass and filling it up with cold water.

Seeing that water makes me realize my mouth is like the Sahara Desert. "Okay." I say and turn around, running to the stairs.

"Y/N!" Felix shouts from the couch, stopping me before I could hide away in Chan's room. "Do you want to play Uno?" He asks, holding up the deck of cards beside his smiling face.

I laugh at his cute appearance. "No, sorry Felix! I have to do something. We can play later though, I promise!" I say as he nods.

I go back to running up the stairs, making my way to Chan's room and shut the door. I softly place my body against the door, taking a few deep breaths before thinking about what just happened.

Did he want to kiss me? Or am I being delusional? Gosh, I don't know! I place my hands on my face, frustrated.

I take a big sigh before removing my hands and jumping in his bed. You know what. I'm probably just being delusional. I pick up the remote from the night stand and turn on the TV.

FELIX'S POV

Chan watches Y/N run up the stairs, then turns and looks at me. "I can play Uno with you." He says, giving me a small smile.

"Okay!" I respond. He walks over to the couch and places his cup of water on the table as I slide off the couch and onto the floor.

"Give me a second. I have to use the bathroom first." He says, turning around and walking up the stairs.

Just as I hear the bathroom door shut, Changbin turns to look at me. I'm actually surprised he looked away from his video game screen.

"Felix." He says, getting my attention.

"Yeah?"

"How come Chan hasn't gotten a new air mattress for Y/N? It's been a week and he's still sleeping on the couch." He says, pointing to the blanket and pillow beside him.

I laugh at his question. "Why do you think?"

Changbin tilts his head in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean?" He asks. "Are we broke?" Pure fear shows in his eyes.

"What? No!" I assure him before shifting my body to give him my full attention.

"He obviously wants her sleeping in his bed." I state, laughing at Changbin's smirk.

He laughs as well before asking; "Okay, but why?"

I turn back to the table and begin shuffling the Uno cards. "So that he can join her in his bed later."

Changbin gasps loudly before we hear the bathroom door open again. "Shhh!" He shouts.

I scoff at him. "I wasn't even talking!" I shout at the same time I see Chan at the top of the stairs. I quickly turn back to my Uno cards and start to shuffle them again.

Chan pauses at the top of the stairs. He looks at us before walking down and up to me and Changbin. "What happened?" He asks, feeling the change  in the room.

"Nothing." I brush off his question and look up at him.

He raises his eyebrows. "Nothing? Are you sure?" He looks at Changbin as he sits down. Thankfully, Changbin is glued to the TV screen. If not, he would've bursted out laughing.

"Yep! Nothing happened!" I say, handing him 7 cards so we can finally start the game.
