BANGCHAN's POV
I run out of the classroom, stopping to look down both sides of the hallway. I hear Y/N's shoes running in the opposite direction of the classes. Is she leaving? Shit.
I quickly follow the sound, finally being able to see Y/N's figure in the distance. "Y/N!" I scream out to her, running up to her and slowing down to walk beside her.
She stops walking and immediately looks to the ground, avoiding eye contact. "What Chan?" She says coldly, my heart starts beating faster as I collect my words to respond.

Y/N's POV
"She was lying, you know that right?" Chan says to me softly. I know he isn't like that, trust me, I know. But in this moment of time, I don't know who to believe, so I just stay silent.
Chan takes my hand into his, turning my body to face him. "Y/N. I don't even know her, I just moved to this school... Please." He says in a soft and calm tone. I know he's right...
I look up at him, meeting his beautiful eyes. "I'm sorry, you're right. I'm such an idiot." I take my hands back, covering my face with them.
"You're not an idiot, and there's nothing to be sorry about." He places both of his hands on my shoulders. "Something bad happened to you before that and you were vulnerable. I understand, Y/N. Just trust me."
I slowly uncover my face, smiling softly to him as we make eye contact. "Yeah. I'll trust you." As I say that, a big smile forms on his face. He hugs me around the waist as my arms are around his neck. I want to stay like this. Forever.
___________
Time skip - After school
Y/N's POV
I exit the school building, walking up to the tall(ish) boy wearing all black. I stand behind his back, tapping him on the shoulder. He turns around, a smile immediately plastering on his face as he sees me.
"Hi Chan!" I smile to him.
"Hey Y/N. Are you ready to go?" He asks, raising his eyebrows.
"Yep!"
We walk down the side walk together, heading towards his house. Our hands accidentally touch a few times until I bring them up, crossing them in front of me. Chan peeks over to me before talking.
"You don't have anywhere to be?" He asks, suddenly putting his hand on my waist, moving me to the inside of the side walk.
I take a moment before responding, looking away to hide my flushed face. "No, not really."
"Not really? You don't have anything to do at your house?" He asks, still looking at me.
My whole body tenses up, thankfully though, he does not notice. I can't let anyone find out what's happening at my house, especially not him.
"Like homework?" He further implies, I uncross my arms, wiping the sweat off of my hands onto my skirt.
I quickly clear my throat. "No. I finish my work at school." I look to the ground, noticing that me and Chan are in sync. I look up at him, searching his face for any sign that he knows something.
"Mm." He replies softly, noticing that there's something off about me. I look to the road, trying to ignore the burning hole his gaze is putting through me.
___________
A FEW MINUTES LATER
CHAN'S POV
I step up to my front door, putting my in my key, turning it, and opening the door. "Y/N?" I call out to her, noticing that she looks like she's seen a ghost.
She's been seeming kind of off lately. I don't think it's because of what happened, though. She seemed to tense up when I ask about her home life.
I try to ignore it but I continue to think about it. Is she safe? Is something happening at her house? Should I be worried about it at all? But before I could over think any further, we both walk into the shared house, being greeted by many smiling faces.
"Hi Y/N!" Felix shouts at her, pushing his way through the others to make it to the front.
"Yah! Stop yelling at her!" Changbin smacks the back of his head, quickly smiling to Y/N after. "Hello Y/N." He says calmly.
She giggles a bit. "Hello everyone!" She does a small bow before turning to look at me.
"Let's not just stand at the front door..." I smile, pushing the other boys out of the way, making enough room for Y/N to slip to the couch.
She takes her seat in the middle, I start to sit down beside her before I'm pushed out of the way by multiple happy boys. Again.
Most of them gather around her, asking her questions.
"Where do you work?" Jeongin asks.
She smiles, "I don't have a job yet."
"Are you going to university?" Han asks, raising his eyebrow.
She looks over to Han, "Yes!"
"What's your major going to be?" Changbin asks, eyes lighting up like a little puppy.
"Uhh..." She takes a moment to think about it. "I don't know... Maybe nursing? Dance?" She shows a small smile.
Jeongin and Felix gasp. "Please dance for us!" They say in unison.
She laughs awkwardly, looking at me for help. I walk over to the group, slipping my hands into my pockets. "Don't ask her to do anything if she doesn't want to do it." I pat them both on the head. "Be respectful!" I fluff up their hair before walking over to the other group of boys that are a little less interested.
I sigh, walking up to Lee know. He just stares at me until I look back at him. "What..?" I ask, low-key weirded out.
"Nothing, nothing." He says to me, secretly smiling in between his words.
"What is it, Lee know?" I move in front of him so that he can't look away from me.
"You like her?" He raises his eyebrows as my eyes go wide.
"What?"
Did I hear that right..?
