The rest of the plane ride was uneventful, I just looked out the small windows looking down at the vast land beneath me, I just wondering how many other people are going though the same thing. Matio kept trying to catch my eye and start a conversation but I just ignored him not wanting to get close to him despite the voice in my head telling me to trust him.I planned to at least try to escape once the plane had landed. I had the plan to get off the plane and once Matio gets off the plane I will 'actually' leave something on the plane and tell him just to go to the car. Once he is in the car I will be able to run. Or if Matio offers to get my stuff I could run walst he was on the plane.
The flight attendant from before appeared in the door way with an obvious fake smile on her face. She informed us of the plane lading know so we have to put seatbelts on despite me having it on the hole time. Matio thanked her and she disappeared off again.
Still sat next to me Matio put on his seat belt and pulled out his phone, I saw he was texting someone called Leo about how we will be home soon.
It wasn't long until the plane had landed and I picked up my old backpack. Matio lead me out of the jet were we were greeted by an expensive shiny looking car seeing a Middle aged man driving, the passenger windows were completely blacked out, meaning I couldn't see if there were any passengers inside.
I rummaged though my bag trying to make it seem like I was looking for something.
'What are you looking for.' Matio asked peering into my open bag.
' um my headphones, I think I've left them on the plane, can I go and see if they are there?' I replied
' err don't worry about it I'll go and see if they are there, you go and sit in the car I'll be back in a minute.' He spoke walking back over to the jet.A mix of anxiety and excitement filled me. I finally had a chance to get free. As soon as I saw Matio fully enter the jet, I took of as fast as I could in the opposition direction to were the jet was. As soon as I started running I heard running behind me, and well and an unknown voice yelling in a language I didn't know.
Looking behind me I saw a man who looked similar to Matio but also similar to me. They were about 6'6, messy thick black hair, and surprisingly wearing a full suit with the jacket button undone. As they were much, much taller then me they were catching up to me quite quickly, and with no bushes or trees to try and lose them in my only option was to run faster.
To my luck a building came into my view, assuming it was the airport I when towards it hoping it was at least some what busy so I could get lost in the crowd.
Pulling the door open as fast as I could, I entered the building. My panic rose when I only saw a cleaner and a desk with a receptionist. Smiling at her I made my way towards the bathrooms. They wouldn't find me in here would they?
