2 weeks later

I have been talking to Maddison for about 2 weeks now and at first I didn't thinks nothing of it but then I started catching feelings for her I decided that I was going to ask her out on a date so I can get to know her more and to see if she's worth taking step to another level

I fell asleep after thinking on how I was going to ask her my mom woke me up and I told a quick shower and changed brushed my teeth and then went downstairs to eat breakfast

"Mom and dad I want to know if I have permission to go out later since it's Friday"
I told them and they looked at me surprised because I haven't asked them to let go out in over 7 months

"Sure but who are you going with" my mom asked my

"I'm planning on asking this girl named Maddison out later" I told them finishing my breakfast

"Sure when are you going to be back" My dad said

"I don't know because I haven't asked her out and I was going to ask her parents what time they want her back home" I told them getting my stuff to head to school

"Ok just let us know if your going out with her" My dad said

"Ok bye I have to get going love you guys" I said leaving the front door

Once I turned on my truck and drove out the driveway Maddison texted me to see if I can pick her up before school

Once I look up from my phone I see Maddison walking towards the passenger door I get off and head to the passenger side and help her on I did something to that side of the truck but I wanted to show it to her later when we are on our date

I was still think on when was the right time to ask her out we head to school and sit there talking until the bell rings for first once first finishes I meet up with Maddison to get second breakfast we get in line and some girl comes up to her and starts talking to her like I'm not here I just ignore it

"Ima head to class I forgot that I already had breakfast at home earlier" I tell her already getting ready to walk away from her

"Just wait for me I'm almost their" She tells me while ignoring the girl she was talking too
I wait for her by the doors but I also see that the same girl from earlier is still with her so I think of an excuse to make up to leave them alone

"Get going I have to talk to a teacher about something I'll be in class in a bit" I told Madison already walking away

"I can go with you if you want" She told me turning my way

"No it fine I don't want to make you and your friend late" I told them walking away completely

I walk to my car and just sit their for about 10 minutes before I decide that I should get back to class before my parents freak out that I'm not their

I walk in and I gave my teacher a late slip that I had my advisory teacher write for me because I told her what had happened and how I got jealous over something very small

Once I sit down I see that Maddison is staring at me and then I realize my phone vibrated
