Sweet Romance [COMPLETED]

Chapter 6

Life has been going very smoothly for the last seven months. Never in my life had I thought that  I would someday end up dating Asher Grey. But here I am not only working with him but also dating him. It all seems like a beautiful  dream when I go to sleep in his arms and fear that it would all disappear once I wake up.

Remembering the moments from last night, heat crawled up from my neck to my cheeks. I snuggled closer into Asher’s chest and he squeezed me comfortingly. “Good morning love.” He placed soft kisses all over my face. I giggled and pushed him away. “I need to cook breakfast, we are already late.” I said getting up from the bed. As he sat up on the bed and looked at me in his naked glory. I kissed him on his forehead and buttoned up his shirt. “Go get a shower and eat fast.” I said, gliding out of the room. After twenty minutes I served breakfast and checked the newspaper, and my eyes were ready to pop out fury and anger suddenly made its way into the emotions churning inside me.

“ASHER GREY! COME OUT RIGHT NOW!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. The moment Asher entered the living room I threw the newspaper towards  his face. 

“You lying bastard.” I gritted out. My breathing was heavy. He picked up the newspapers and when his eyes fell on the head lines he looked shocked. “We have been dating for seven fucking months now, did I somehow miss the part where you told me that you were already engaged and that you were going to get married at the end of this year?” I asked him, trying to keep myself as calm as I can keep myself at this point of time. I expected him to stammer, get  nervous and try to explain things to me but instead of doing that he placed the paper away and hugged me tightly. That was when I realised my body was shaking and tears were streaming down from my eyes.

He kissed the top of my head softly and whispered. “I know, whatever I will say right now will sound like utter bullshit. That's why I will prove to you that this is all just a misunderstanding and that you are the only woman in my life. My precious Raya please, trust me.” With one last kiss on my forehead he walked away. I fell down on the ground and a loud sob left my mouth. I looked at the paper and something didn’t make sense. The picture was taken from the private parking lot where only the chiefs of the company had access. No one else will achieve anything by that kind of headline. Instead the company will face loss.

If the headlines are taken into consideration I exactly know who is the one behind this.  

“THE FAMOUS DESIGNER AND OWNER OF THE FASHION BRAND CLASSY  ASHER  GREY FOUND CHEATING ON HIS FIANCE.” 

I quickly got ready and decided to drop by the office. Walking in was harder than expected. Everyone was whispering and staring like I was some weird species they had seen for the first  time. I quickly walked to my studio and all the members except for Lucinda were present. “We know you will never do something like that, Era.” I smiled at them and thanked them for trusting me. “Jack, can you please forward my message to Mr.Grey about the Fashion show and Nira please make sure every design is ready. We will be holding the Fashion show in two days.” They both nodded and went on to do their work. I quickly checked on the venue and the models.
