Last night rushed through my head as I ate breakfast with Kushina.
I began to imagine what would have happened if kakashi hadn't woken up. Seeing his face... I want to.
I covered my mouth as I ate across from kushina and wiped my mouth with a towel I laid on the table. Kushina let out a small chuckle. I raised my eyes from my plate to her.
"You're so formal." I nodded. "I'm sorry does it make you uncomfortable." She shook her head.
"Do whatever makes you happy Enyo." I nodded. In the leaf village I could loosen up but it's not natural for me.
I washed my dish quickly. I knew kakashi would be here soon. I ran up to my room to change.
I grabbed the uniform on my bed and threw it over myself.
The sound of knocking took me out of my thoughts. Kakashi was here.
I sighed. Note to self. Dont wake up late. I walked out of my room combing my hands through my hair, it was silky. I wrapped a tie around my hair and did it into a bun. My feet carried their way down to the door.
When I opened it kakashi looked me up and down. He hesitantly spoke. "You look tired." I nodded. "I woke up late."
I slipped my sandals on and grabbed the pouch that I left on the table next to the door and clipped it around me. I stepped out of the house and waved goodbye to Kushina who approached the door. She smiled and waved back. "Have a good day!"
The door closed ushering me and Kakashi away. We stared the walk to the headquarters. I felt my nerves getting to me. "The mission is tomorrow."
"The date changed?" He nodded calmly. Like he sensed my nerves, he began to say reassuring words. "You shouldn't worry, it will be easy and simple."
I felt relief creep over me. I laughed awkwardly. I must be-like this because I'm nervous. I just hope everything goes okay.
Anbu headquarters's was quiet as it always was. Me and kakashi sat in the team room.
"The others should be here soon so we can go over the mission."
Time passed and the blonde girl I met, Neko had entered. Along with a tall girl with a mask that resembled a bird. She had black hair that was down to her shoulders in a bob. Neko held out her hand pointing to the girl. "This is Tori or Yui."
I nodded and bowed faintly greeting her. "Pleasure to meet you."
She nodded. To me, must be the quiet type.
