Tazuna didn't live to far, but unfortunately Kakashi didn't wake up in the time we got there so my arms were killing me. No matter how strong of a ninja I am, Kakashi was a heavy grown man.

Tazuna granddaughter answered the door for us and her eyes widened with surprise. She ushered us inside and led me to a spare room. I placed kakashi down and asked for some privacy. I unrolled a tatami mat that laid against the wall and placed kakashi on it.

I took off his shoes and placed them by the door. I then carefully began my healing jutsu.
His chakra depletion was insane. I healed him enough to where his eyes fluttered open. "Hey there sleepy head." He looked at me.

"Where are we?" I pushed my jutsu down to his hand where zabuza cut him.

"We are at Tazunas home." Kakashi watched me as I healed him.

"Does anywhere hurt?" He shook his head. "I could have healed on my own you didn't need to help me."

I sighed. "If I can't help why else would I be here, don't worry about me." Being next to kakashi still felt incredibly awkward. There was so many ways I thought we would meet again, but this never was one of them. This moment was unexpected and unpredictable.

But still when I look at him I feel the same as when I left him, kakashi meant more to me than a friend. Even what I saw that day, it didn't rid my feelings for him. I was kneeling next to his tatami mat, unsure of what to do or say.

Thankfully for me, the bridge builders daughter Tsunami knocked on the door.
She entered and smiled. "I'm making a quick meal, why don't you join us." I nodded and helped kakashi up. "You should be feeling better, so let's eat."

I led kakashi to the kitchen table where the kids, Tazuna, his grandson, and Tsunami sat. Me and kakashi sat across from eachother. Tsunami set the table with rice and chicken, we thanked her and everyone dug in.

I was midway through my first bite when Tsunami tapped my shoulder. She leaned over to me and began to whisper in my ear. "So are you guys dating."

She took me by surprise and I tried to swallow my food. I ended up choking. I quickly grabbed water to stop the food from coming back up. I chugged my glass and shook my head at her.

"N-no it's not like that." My face was burning and everyone was looking at me. But I could tell kakashi knew what she had asked, there was a line of pink from under his mask.

Tsunami had a smirk on her face, she stood up and to open up a cabinet. She came back with a bottle of sake. I'll admit I was a heavy drinker.

"Some juice for the grown ups." She poured some into my empty cup, kakashis, tazunas and her own. I saw Naruto peek over at kakashis cup. Wondering what it was.

I smiled and grabbed my cup, I tilted it up to my lips, the familiar burn was a nice feeling after a long day of work.

I appreciated that our dinner was mainly the children bickering with eachother and getting to know inari and his family.

Tsunami pulled me aside after we cleaned up the dinner dishes. "The kids will be sleeping in the living room so you and that man can get your own space." I felt heat rise to my cheeks again.

"It's really not like that." She looked at me. "Come on, can't you see how he looks at you?"

I shook my head. She pulled my arm and led me into a room. "Here, I'll give you these clothes to sleep in." She pulled out silk pajamas.
