Minha Ali
***********

When both the girls approach Minha's house, they notice that two cars have been parked infront it.

"Koun aaya hoga?" aiman asked looking at me.

"Kya pata koun aaya hoga" I just shrugged the question.

We are not used to having visitors in our home because they don't consider us to be family members.

"Come with me inside to check who's here", I said taking aiman's hand and guiding her inside my home.

We both enter the house to see my father and my so-called grandparents sitting there and enjoying tea.

"Assalamualaikum ammi" I greeted her gaining everyone's attention towards me.

While I was preoccupied with wondering why they are here, looking at my mother incoherently, Aiman tucked my shirt to get my attention.

"I believe, I've come at the wrong time", stated Aiman glancing around and grinning awkwardly.

"Go upstairs to my room and sit there, I will return in a short while" I said looking at her.

Ok, saying this, she began to make her way upstairs to my room.

"Kya baat hai na salam na dua" dadi asked with raised brows.

"Assalamualaikum" I said sitting beside my mother.

"Walaikumasalam, aaj der nhi hogayi university se aane me?" she questioned.

"Haan traffic bohot thi isiliye" I said glancing at her left to see Asifa glaring at me, I just roll my eyes at her.

I think she forgot, how hard I slapped her. I'm going to give this bitch another slap for rolling her eyes.

"You people said we will talk once Minha comes from the university. Now that she's here, tell me what's the matter" questioned ammi staring at baba.

"We are not here to converse, rather, we are come to let you know that Shabbir and Minha's marriage is being fixed", dadi's words caused me to stare at her in shock.

"Excuse me, she is my daughter, you have no right to decide that", said ammi glaring at her.

"Woh meri bhi potee hai, mera pura haq hai", said dadi with a smile.

"She is your granddaughter, why didn't you recall this 10 years ago?", ammi questioned her.

"Why are you all recalling the past Now? Let's start life in a new way", dadi said, looking at nana, nani and ammi.

"We don't want our daughter to wed your grandson, so please leave", said nanu sternly.

"Shah saab, it is best for us if we stay out of conversation with women" gazing at nanu dada jaan said.

"Women talks, this is a matter of my daughter's life, and I don't want my other daughter to visit your home and have her life destroyed" everyone came out of their rooms as nanu shouted.

"Don't shout shah saab, just be ready iss mahine ki aakhri tariq ko ham baraat layenge" dada jaan said with a smirk.

"Leave this place now, I wish to never see your faces again" nanu yelled and threw the glass off the table.

While I was sitting there reflecting on what dadi had said, she suddenly approached me, placed a ring on my finger, kissed my forehead and said "We'll meet soon".

"I would rather kill my daughter before marrying your son" yelled ammi.

"Let's see if she dies or come to our house as shabbir's bride" said dadi with a smirk.

"It would be better if you leave from here" said mishi.

"Yes, we are leaving for the time being, Allah hafiz" said dada jaan with a smile.

"Allah hafiz, bhabhi!" said Asifa giving me a side hug.

I merely give her a scowl and decide to give her a knife stab this time.

They left, and I'm like, "What the hell is going on with my life? I want to be alone right now".

Ammi was calling, but I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at the moment. I just want to be alone myself, out of here, and away from this marriage drama, so I hurried upstairs to my room and locked it from inside.

God help me, please. What did I ever do to deserve this? I sobbed as I threw the ring off of my finger. I don't want to marry him.

Ya Allah, you know my situation, my weakness and my need. I request you please help me never leave me alone please ya allah help me. She screamed out for Allah's assistance since she knew that no one else could possibly help her in this circumstance.
