We both walked downstairs hand in hand out of the room, smile never left my lips ever since we had resolved our misunderstanding.

As we walked, I was completely awestruck by the beauty of the mansion. The white walls gleamed in the soft morning light, creating a sense of elegance and sophistication. The golden accents throughout the mansion added a touch of luxury, making me feel like I have stepped into a fairytale. The two way staircases in the foyer was a focus point, leading the eye up to the second floor in a graceful and inviting manner.

As we continued walking, we entered into the living room where every one was gathered and sipping their morning tea.

The room was cozy and inviting, with plush furniture and warm lighting creating a welcoming atmosphere. The large windows allowed natural light to flood the room, highlighting the intricate details of the decor. I couldn't help but feel grateful to be in such a beautiful and enchanting place.

"Assalamualaikum", I greeted every one as Shahmeer and I entered the living room.

"Walaikumassalam", every one replied, but my eyes were drawn to the sight of the twin girls sitting on the ground near chachi, pressing her legs.

"Yeh jumme ke fakeer hain, Mannat aur Dua", Harris remarked eyeing the girls, who glared at him for his words.

"Tum fakeer, tumhara khandan fakeer, badtameez insan", said a girl with a nose ring, wearing baggy trousers and a plain white t-shirt. She was probably Dua, as Mannat is the quite and shy one.

"Khandan kaha se agaya iss mein? Bhai, main toh Ambani aur Bill Gates se bhi ameer hoon", Ibrahim quipped, making a smile appear on my face.

"Ammi, please jaane de na", Dua said as she continued to press chachi's legs, drawing my attention to them while I smiled.

"Kaha jaane ki baatein chal rahi hai?", I asked, plopping myself next to Zaid on the couch.

"Baatein nahi bhabhi, minnatein kar rahi hai---university se camping jaane ki", Harris said making me look at the girls, who were now standing by holding ammi's hands.

"Badi ammi, bole na ammi se bas chaar din ki hi toh baat hai, waise bhi hum akele thodi ja rahe hai classfellows aur teachers bhi toh hongi hamare saath", Dua said reasoning while looking at ammi with puppy eyes.

"Nahi beta, sorry. Kal walima bhi hai, aur tum akele kaise jaogi? Mannat ne kaha tha ke use camping jaane mein interest nahi hai", chachi said, making us all look at Mannat, who had a nervous smile on her face and was fidgeting with her fingers.

Mannat is very cute. With long brown hair, a button nose, big doll-like eyes, and round spectacles perched on her nose, she was wearing a black kurta pajama with a dupatta draped around her neck.

Dua is the opposite of Mannat; she was wearing a white t-shirt and black trousers, with her short hair tied back in a ponytail. She has a nose piercing on her button nose and looks pretty, mashallah.

"Mannat, tum nahi aa rahi?", Dua asked raising her brow at Mannat, who shook her head to indicate no.

"Nahi, main ghar par theek hu", Mannat replied adjusting her glasses on her nose.

"Kya boring insan ho yaar tum! Ghar par reh kar kya karogi? Batao mujhe", Dua asked placing her hands on her hips.

"Main apni painting complete karungi", Mannat whispered, giving Dua a smile that revealed a dimple on her left cheek, making her look even cute.

"Mannat, explore something beyond just paintings; you always bury yourself in paintings and novels", she said, glaring at Mannat, who merely twisted her mouth and left the room, leaving Dua begging ammi and chachi for permission.
