It was the day of the Calamity. The day where their training would finally pay off and show what it truly meant to be a champion. However, when it comes to a victory it can always cost a loss. Mipha, Champion of the Zora, had just stepped into Vah Ruta and was adorned in her usual elegant attire of jewelry with the royal Zora crest attached onto each piece. Although Mipha was quite afraid of what was yet to come she pushed the newly forming fear down knowing she will be both representing her people and protecting them as well. Not only was she the pilot of this Divine Beast but also the next heir to the throne after her father, King Dorephan. With a tight grasp on her Lightscale Trident, she approached the main control panel of the giant relic of Sheikah technology. The Zora Princess had always felt she had a special connection with Ruta the way it would always respond to her with certain levels of volume when something was on her mind. She spoke softly as she ran her hand down one of the walls of the beast. "This will be our final opportunity Ruta, we will not fail." It let out a triumphant sounding bellow. The sake of Hyrule was on the line and it was up to her along with the other fellow champions to assist Princess Zelda. The young Hylian woman had just turned eighteen and her powers were strong enough to hold off Ganon as the Champions fled to their positions. Mipha brushed her hand over the control panel, though it gave no indication of a response. She went through the same motion again, but to no avail. The screen flickered a shade of red, much darker than her scales. It flashed more rapidly, and a siren blared. "Ruta, what is the matter??", she vigilantly asked. Bioluminescent strips flowed out of the panel and gathered in the midst of the room. It started to take a lanky shape with devilish hair resembling its creator, emerging with a war cry. 'Oh Hylia, is this one of Ganon's guardians?! Were the other champions experiencing the same thing? Were they alright?' In three other corners of the land a similar noise echoed within the beasts, their piolets trapped. Malice dripped off several ends of the creature and it was covered in the same technology that the Sheikah geniously developed. Did it merge itself with it? The 'thing' produced a large blue energy weapon in the form of a spear and locked its glowing eye onto her. The battle would determine who would gain jurisdiction over poor Vah Ruta..
