The typical Zora did not age as quick compared to Hylians, looking just like Link remembered all those years ago. Shining amber eyes that competed with the sun and crimson scales. For Mipha it was quite the contrary, Link's hair was now longer and had matured very much so. The boy she had done absolutely everything with, was now grown up and stood before her only a few inches taller. It was a slow process of reconnection, their eyes naturally straying away to the floor and the oh so loud silence. Although it became clear the two wanted to have that closeness again they had when they were younger. Frequently questions of when the other was free to talk again were exchanged. With each visit their comfort with one another rose until they were relieved to discover that inside, their friend was still the same caring person they met so long ago. In every battle, hardship, and just time together they shared Mipha began to realize that her friendship with Link had carried her to a new path.
It had evolved into feelings.
A loud rumble traveled through the air and shook the ground. Mipha noticing that her arm was now long recovered, quickly stood up and rushed toward the entry of Ruta to see what the trouble was. Miles away, she could see Hyrule Castle engulfed in a deep red shade of Ganon's spirit and the evil itself descended into the Sanctum. Zelda must have released Ganon in Link's presence. "Ruta, we have trained for this day, and it has arrived. We shall not falter!", Mipha shouted. Ruta bellowed. The mechanical tusks of the machine rose until it locked into position. It made a whirring sound growing louder each second, and then a tremendous amount of energy in the form of a light beam was fired. It pierced through the dense atmosphere into the castle along with the sheer power of Rudina, Medoh, and Naboris. It was now or never; Link was in there to finish it once and for all. Mipha cupped her hands together bringing them to her chest.
"Please be safe... my love."
