The radiance of the sun was reflected off the moon as it casted a gentle dim light through the thick white clouds that hung over the domain. Another day was approaching its end when a guard knocked on her bedroom door. "Your Highness, you have a letter addressed to you." "A letter? Thank you kindly.", she said taking the envelope from the Zora's hand. The guard bowed and was off. Mipha curiously opened it and her amber eyes lit up as she read the first few words.

'Dearest Mipha, I've done extraordinarily well in my latest training courses...' She had felt both pride and mostly happiness to know Link was doing so great!Mipha started to read the page faster. 'They are looking to promote me to a higher-ranking position...'
"This is fantastic news! I most certainly should congratulate him. Well- if I can..", her problem was shortly answered. 'I have been given some leisure time...' 'and look forward to seeing you again soon.'

Sincerely, Link

As she came to the final sentence the Zora was ecstatic, she could hardly contain her excitement. He still remembered her! In addition to that, he had chosen to spend his limited freedom with her! After long last she would reunite with her childhood best friend. It was quite a challenge to get sleep that night. Mipha was informed that Link's arrival was expected by noon, so she decided to use her early morning completing her studies beforehand, that way there would be much more time for her to spend with him with no worries. Sunshine warmed her body as she anxiously waited in the plaza stroking her tail fin. The princess received many greetings that she returned in kind from the small bustling crowd tending to their daily work. Then in the distance, Mipha could make out a single hooded figure riding a brown maned horse down to the bridge. It stopped in front of her and took off the cloak around itself before she could manage a word. Behind the fabric, revealed a man who had blond hair and eyes the color of the sky.

"L-link?" It was all the princess could get out in her astonishment.

"Mipha."
