Lunar ran down to the little beach where he usually practiced his powers. He'd asked for a break that day, but that didn't mean he still couldn't go talk to Castor, right? He avoided a few narrow trees, before spotting the star-covered individual he was looking for.
"Castor! Castorr!" They turned their head, narrowing their eyes before there expressing softened, just a bit. "You said you wanted a break today." They tilted their head, confused. Lunar nodded. "Yea, BUT! That's besides the point!"
Lunar walked over to where they were standing. "How much free time do you have?" They hesitated. "Why would you need to know that-?" "Just answer the dang question!" Castor paused, before answering. "I don't have anything to do. Why--" Lunar didn't let them get another word out. "It's settled then;you and me are going to hang out today!"
They stuttered, a bit confused. "Why? I don't think I'm allowed to do that." Lunar shook his head. He had an answer this time. "You're supposed to be keeping an eye on me right? I will be in eyes-view while I'm with you. Plus, Pollux hangs out with my sister all the time. I've never seen you do anything outside of training me, anyway."
".. This is not a good idea." Castor protested. "Of course it isn't. Are you in or out, though?" Lunar reaches a hand out towards them, offering to take there's. They hesitated, before nodding. "Fine.. I suppose i can do that." Lunar grinned, taking the constellations hand in their own and running off.
What have i agreed to..?
"So! What's your hobbies?" Lunar realized then he didn't actually know much about them, outside of the whole Star thing. "Hobbies. That's a very.. Diverse term." Castor tried diverting the conversation from himself. "So just tell me something you enjoy doing. You like books? Movies? I know Pollux really likes movies and Culture, and apparently that Nebula person likes documentaries. So what's your thing?"
There was silence for a moment, before they spoke. "I like stargazing." Lunar raised an eyebrow. They continued. "It's the only thing i usually have time to do. I don't get time to myself often." That's kind of sad. Lunar set a goal for himself at that moment:find something they liked doing. It wasn't dark enough for stargazing, so they'd just have to find something to do.
Lunar went back to the pizzaplex first. The Pizzaplex had a variety of arcade games enough to see if Castor liked them. They sprinted through the building. Castor was.. Confused. Mainly on how or why they'd agreed to this, but also on where they were even going.
Suddenly, Lunar came to a stop. "I present to you;The Arcade." They narrowed their eyes, looking around. "I.. Don't get what's so cool about it." Lunar ran ahead, Castor followed after them. He stopped at one of the games he thought would be easy. Pac-Man. "This one's kind of easy, so you'll probably get the hang of it quickly." He fed the machine a few coins from his pocket, the machine giving a wirrrr before the game flashed on the screen.
Lunar took their hand, placing it on the joystick. "Basically, you have to collect all the dots and avoid the ghosts. That's your character," he pointed at the yellow dot on the screen, "and those things are trying to kill you." He pointed at the colorful ghosts. "You understand?"
Castor nodded. Lunar stepped back, letting them play the game. They died a few times, but eventually got the hang of it. Lunar thought they were pretty good at it.
How long does this game go on for?
Lunar looked back and fourth, before realizing it was in his head.
