Hanni gasped.
"Where is she?!" She shouted on the top of her lungs, she looked around desperately.
Hanni's mother immediately went up to hug Hanni. "My babygirl, you're alright!"
"Where is she?!" Hanni asked again, more worried than the first. But just like how her first thought came to her mind, it went away just as quickly. "Where is... who am I asking for?"
Hanni's father observed silently, before exiting the room nonchalantly.
"What... happened? Why am I in the hospital?" Hanni asked her mother frantically, checking her body for all kinds of scars or bruises, but there were none.
Hanni's mother eyes twitched, "Do you... really not remember?"
Hanni hesitated before shaking her head.
Her mother sighed as she joined her father outside of her room and closed the door. "I'll be right back honey."
Hanni blinked cluelessly.
"She doesn't remember," Her mother stated.
Her father looked away, "I know."
After a long pause, he continued, "We shouldn't tell her, it's for the better."
Her mother looked up at his figure, tears in her eyes, "But... she deserves to know."
"She wouldn't want that for Hanni," Hanni's father smiled bittersweetly. "Maybe this was a blessing in disguise, she could start over now."
"It's still not right," Hanni mother's declared, before agreeing, "But you're right, she wouldn't want that for Hanni either."
