Chapter 1: The Beginning of Elysia Percious

"I can't find it." A low grumbly voice murmurs from the corner.

"Find what." Says a calming voice.

"The Gem, someone stole it." He stood up from kneeling down, his footsteps shaking the house.

"What? No this can't be, you know the dangers of that thing, what it holds." She walks up behind him.

"I know, and we'll destroy the Earth if we cannot find it." He says as he turns around.

"What if the Gods find us, what if they send back there."

"It won't happen, if the world is gone. After we destroy it we'll go live somewhere peaceful, somewhere where no God can tell us what to do." He places his hand on her cheek.

"Ok, I trust you." She places her hand on his and leans her head on his chest.

In New York City

The birds chirped and the wind whistled in the warm central park.

"Elysia!" A voice called from behind.

Elysia turned around looking for who called her.

She turned to see her best friend Annabeth running straight toward her, "Anna!" Elysia ran toward her hugging her.

"I've been waiting on this bridge for an hour, where have you been?" Elysia asks as they begin to walk.

"Yeah sorry, I got hung up with my dad." Anna says.

"It's fine, so how was your test on Greek Gods?" Elysia asks.

"I think I did good, also when I was studying, in one of the books it actually had your name in it."

Elysia has a confused but prideful look on her face.

"I'll take a look at it when I get home." Elysia continues walking feeling better about herself.

As they walk a group of boys pass them, one shoulder bumping them.

"Hey whats your problem!?" Anna walks up to the boys pushing them.

"Oh you're a brave one." The boys turn around and push Anna to the ground.

Elysia walks up to the boy and punches him in the face knocking him back.

Blood began to fall from the boys nose. Elysia grabbed Anna's arm helping her up.

The boy stands up and begins to chase the two girls, his friends following.

As they run a security guard notices them and begins to follow behind.

The girls are soon cornered on the bridge above the lake, "Since you want to be so brave do something now!" The boy screams as his nose becomes a pale purple.

Elysia goes to push him into the lake, she raises her hands halfway, but before she even touched him he flown back and landed in the lake.

The other two ran to go help their friend. Elysia looks at Anna to see if she saw what just happened but she didn't what Anna and Elysia saw were completely different.

Two security guards rush over over to Elysia while another go to help the boy out of the lake.

Elysia is grabbed by the arms and put in handcuffs. The boy is pulled out of the lake and looks at Elysia with a stern look before him and his friends run off into the park.

"I'll see you tomorrow alright?" Anna says as Elyisa is brought into a police station.

An hour goes by before Elysia's mother comes to pick her up.

"Elysia Percious, your mother is here to get you." An officer takes her outside and watches as Elysia gets into her mother's car.

"What happened?" Elysia's mom asks.

Elysia ignores the question and asks her own. "Who's my father?" Her mom is caught off guard by this.

"Everytime I ask you that you always say that you can't tell me, that you're protecting me, from what mom?" Elysia's mood grows angry.

"It's for you're own good, I have to protect you from them." Her mom says.

"Who mom!? Who is so dangerous that they won't even let me know my dad!?" Elysia begins to yell.

Her mother gets anger but keeps her voice low. "Elysia, your father is Zeus."
