Tropical Beaches And Fairies

The Flying Taxi that I'd called took us back to the Central Plaza. I went through it and up the ramps that lead to the Costal Biome and stepped out into the tropical region.

I let out Miraidon so we would travel a little faster and got up on his back, Astra settling down in front of me. There was a large rock wall to the left, but I didn't think it was worth it to climb it unless I had to.

We started down the path that was made by the wall that separated the Costal Biome from the Savanna Biome, eventually making it to a place where we could see the water.

We dropped down the small cliff and onto the beach. I couldn't help but guide Miraidon to the water's edge and take in a breath of the slightly salty air. "Mini?" Astra said.

"Yeah, you're right. We should go. Come on, Miraidon." I said, turning him away from the water. We went back up the beach and started to go along the path to our right.

I started to take out some BBQs, stopping at the Rest Area along the way. We came up to a bridge and I could just barely make out the Costal Plaza in the distance. We crossed the bridge over to the other island and continued on the path.

We took the path down to the beach. We rode along the coastline and came back around to see the Costal Plaza. We rode up to it and I stopped Miraidon.

Astra and I got off and I returned the large Pokemon before going into the Plaza. There was a girl standing behind the blocks who was right in front of me and I went up to her.

"Welcome to the Costal Plaza! We're the team that supports Miss Lacey of the Elite Four! And you're... Y/N, right? One of the BB League challengers?" she asked.

I nodded. "You'll need to hand over 50 BP if you want to take on the Elite Trial here. Are you ready and willing to pay?" the girl asked. "Yep." I said, pulling out my phone.

I transferred over the BP and put my phone away. "Thank you very much! Duly received and noted!" the girl said. She turned and called, "We need you over here, Miss Lacey!"

"Comiiing!" Lacey said as she walked over. "Oh, if it isn't Y/N! I'm so glad you decided to pay me a visit! Please follow me. I'll show you the trial site!" We went to a more quiet area of the biome.

"Thank you for coming the the Costal Plaza to challenge me." Lacey said. "It's part of the BB League so I feel like it's expected." I said, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Speaking of... I really am sorry for the way I protested you joining the BB League, Y/N. Of course, it's true that this is quite irregular under the bylaws of our school clubs. But mainly I didn't want you to get dragged into the drama that's been troubling the club lately." Lacey said.

Well, I think I'm the one who started that drama, so I'm kinda involved anyway. I thought. "I suppose our trial has already officially begun, though, so let's get to it and have some fun!" Lacey said.

"The trial that I came up with is... a Pokemon quiz! I'll ask you five questions about Pokemon. If you can answer them all correctly, then you pass! Are you ready to attempt my Pokemon quiz, Y/N?" I nodded.

I'd finished the quiz, and it wasn't too bad. The questions weren't hard, I just had to think back to my classes at Uva to get some of the answers.

"You managed to get all five of my questions right, which means... Congratulations, Y/N! You've officially cleared my Elite Trial!" Lacey said. "Why don't we head back to the plaza?"

We walked back to the plaza and went over to the battle court. "Since you passed my Elite Trial, you've earned the right to challenge me to a battle! But what do you want to do now? Ready to move straight to it?" Lacey asked.
