BANG--- The sound of a gun echoes in the hallway as a man was shot in his head. Puno ng mga taong may itim na cloak ang pasilyo habang nagtatalsikan ang dugo ng mga gwardya sa lugar.
"The guardian of Isfet must be found." The man said, the back of his cloak has a pattern of an Atef crows.
They walked on the endless hallway, fifty of guards were lying on the ground—already dead or dying.
"Tell the agency that this place is clear." The man said, holding the captain of the guard's head in his hand and pushing it inside a sack.
They all marched, their steps were synchronized as if they were soldiers moving towards a war.
"Min 'ajl sharaf 'uwzuris (for the honor of Osiris.)"

"The bread is not for the dead, kid." I looked up at a man, his eyes were gold, he had a wooden staff on his hand, which he uses to draw images in the sand.
I looked at the bracelet he's giving me. He said it was expensive, it can translate any language depending on the user. He said it was called literia.
"Are you perhaps a scammer, sir?" I asked, I had candles on my hand meant for selling.
The man chuckles, I can't help but fathom how deep his voice is or how his laughter resembles the growl of a dog.
"Then, let's have a deal, kid." He removed his shawl over his head and put it in me, the wind blew all over us and I was in awe looking at his eyes which shines brighter than any gold or gems.
"I am the patron of this place and I'll give you a castle in exchange for one of my wishes," He muttered gently, his low voice is ragged and deep.
My small hand brush the shawl almost covering my eyes. I looked up at him, and I was distracted again at how beautiful his eyes are.
"Mister, your eyes are pretty." I praised unknowingly, filled with adoration, he smiled warmly, but his gaze turned cold.
"Do you want my eyes, Veshniu? You know, I'll give anything to you." He said and I can't help but smile knowing it's a joke.
But no.
Everything was dark.
He was gauging my eyes roughly with his hand, I couldn't see, I could almost hear the sound of corpses singing around us and I couldn't recognize my voice while crying.
Everyday, he would stab me with a knife with luxurious pattern on it's blade, and made me drink a blood from his own body.
"May the centipedes be with you until you die, my child." The man spoke with warmth in his face.

My eyes fluttered opened slowly. Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras akong nakatulog pero iisa lang ang alam ko.
