Sebek was pacing around the cell. He had just been sentenced to death for attempted murder of the crown prince of Briar Valley... Of course the queen would sentence him to death! Her grandson almost died! Sebek decided to go through his memories again to see what went wrong with his plan and how he can improve it..

Sebek walked into the mystery shop clearly knowing what he wanted to get. He had planned this for quite awhile, he WILL execute it.

"Whatever you want is in stock now!"
Mr. Sam had said to Sebek when he entered the shop

"Do you happen to have any daggers with a blade of iron?"
Sebek asked him

"I don't think it's my place to question but we have that in stock for 35 thaumarks!"

Sebek hands Mr. Sam the 35 thaumarks and leaves the mystery shop with the blade in hand. Now he had to wait for tonight....

A few hours later

Malleus was on one of his nightly walks around Ramshackle, admiring the architecture. Just like Sebek planned!He quietly snuck up to his liege, avoiding leaves and any stray sticks that would surely snap if he stepped on any. Malleus stopped and bent down to look at the flowers... perfect. Sebek pulled out his dagger and brought it down to-

"Hornton watch out!"

Sebek froze hearing the voice of the prefect of Ramshackle, the blade almost had reached Malleus! Lucky for Malleus and Yuu, not so much for him. Sebek quickly backed away before Malleus could stand up and-

SNAP!

.....
HE STEPPED ON ONE OF THOSE DAMNED STICKS!

"Sebek?"
Malleus, who had turned around at the sudden noise, said to him with betrayal in his voice

"...I'm sorry. This world needs to be rid of you!"
Sebek yelled at him throwing the dagger at Malleus, which hit him in the shoulder, burning him.

Malleus hissed in pain

Yuu had called Lilia who quickly aprehended Sebek before he could cause more harm and Silver who also came took Malleus to the infirmary.

You failed Sebek!

....I know

You're so stupid for letting yourself get caught!

I know...

Why should you-

ENOUGH!

Sebek opened his eyes, his hands searing with pain... he accidentally killed the guard who had opened the cell to ready him for his execution! He was free! Sebek quickly ran and ran guards chasing after him but he fended them off with spells until he finally got out of the castle and continued running...

Maybe you're not such a failure after all Sebek!
