Sebek and Atlas went to look at the shops nearby for new clothing but unfortunately, they had no money left and returned to the bus stop with nothing gained.
"It is quite the shame we couldn't get anything..."
"Hey, stuff here in Sunflower City is expensive, what did you expect?"
Sebek had no response instead focused on planning what to do in the Shaftlands. Should he try to get more people to help him or was he okay with Atlas? No matter, the bus has arrived!
"Grab your belongings and keep them close Krane"
"Don't tell me what to do I'm not a baby!"
"You've decided to help me on my quest to regain power and defeat the crown prince of Briar Valley. I am the leader so technically I can tell you what to do, no?"
"I hate it when you're smart"
"Why you have my thanks Krane!"
The two got on the bus and immediately headed to the back where they wouldn't be easily heard. They both released themselves of their magical disguises Sebek gaining his mint-green hair back while Atlas now has white, fluffy hair. He reminds him of a certain wolf-beastman he was friends- no- acquainted with during his time at NRC.. no matter, Sebek then took his contacts out placing them safely in a small container that was then put into the satchel he carries around.
"Hey Sebek?"
"What is it Krane"
"Do you mind telling me how those lighting-like scars on your arms came to be?"
...Oh. Sebek had pulled up his sleeves, forgetting the scars he retained in the past.
"Pretty longe story Krane..."
That's baby magic anyone can do that.
Why don't you go play with other humans?
Eww a half-fae!
The words said to him flashed through his mind. Why wasn't he stronger? Why couldn't his body be strong enough to withstand his unique magic?
"Well... that is a story for another time Krane"

Atlas felt uneasy at the silence after what Sebek said. He gets it though. Scars hold memories, scars can hold pain, trauma, and so much more. He had his fair share of bad experiences that ended with scars!
"..It it makes you feel better I can tell you the story of the scar on my chest!"
"Well then, I am listening then Krane"

Sebek felt sorry that Atlas had to experience that. He couldn't imagine how scary that would be!
"Well, I am fairly tired, goodnight Sebek!"
Sebek didn't respond and Atlas quickly succumbed to the pull of sleep.
"Goodnight... Atlas"
Soon, Sebek himself drifted off to sleep

Look at the half-fae squirming in his sleep. What a sad, miserable being. Karma will catch up to him. Death is inevitable. Death is inevitable. Death is inevitable.
