Mahira Sharma was contemplating why she chose the path of being a doctor. Yep, she was. Today all of her patients were either complaints of heart pains or bp pains (Mahi is a cardiologist in training). She was tired and wanted to rest in her cabin, but she knew her boss Aarav Birla hated her alot and was particularly angry that day as he had assigned many works that day. The only thing that made her happy was that her friend Ruhi Poddar had come to visit as she needed to talk to her cousin about some issues, and with her, she brought her husband Rohit Poddar.
"Hey Mahi, Don't tell me that bhai has already assigned you alot of works that you cannot even have a conversation". Ruhi mockingly said because she knew that Aarav Birla always gave her friend a hundred works and not let her take a simple break. Mahira and the Poddar family knew each other as the Poddar's would always call Anita for being a chef in parties they host. Everyone knew that Aarav Birla only gave Mahi those works because he couldn't accept to himself that he liked her. For lords sake, even Abhira knew that he liked her and she was the most oblivious person on this earth.

Suddenly after a few minutes of talking to her friends, Mahira heard her annoying bosses voice out of the loudspeaker say "Miss Mahira Sharma, please come to my office, there is a patient who specially requires your assistance immediately". When Mahi heard the word PATIENTS she started running, because even though she hated her boss, she loved tending to patients and making sure that they felt better.
When she reached her bosses cabin, her eyes widened out because of the person. HER BLOODY PATIENT WAS NONE OTHER THAN ANUJ FREAKING KAPADIA!
Oh how she wanted to kill Aarav Birla, he was the only one who knew that she was Anupama Joshi's daughter and he thought that bringing the person she hates in front would be cool?
But, she like a obedient doctor went in and greeted them very professionally to make sure she looked proper and confidant. "Well, Mr Kapadia, this is one of the best cardiologists in the hospital and her name is Mahira Sharma". To which Anuj responded "I've heard her name from my daughter Aadhya and it's only praises, so I would like to see this doctor myself to have a actual opinon.
When Anuj saw her, he stood in shock for 10 minutes. This girl was looking like a copy of his ex-wife in attitude. Anuj thought she was a mix of Kavya and Anupama at first, but then realised he was thinking quite stupidly and calming himself down, introduced himself "Hi, I'm Anuj Kapadia, Father of your bestie Aadhya Kapadia and fiancee of Shruti Ahuja, your favorite Aunt and a new investor of Birla Hospitals, I guess". To which Mahira rolled her eyes at the fiancee part and she was shocked when she heard the investor part; but she decided to just ask Aarav later, Neverthless introduced herself with the same intensity "Hello, I'm Dr Mahira Sharma, Daughter of Anita Sharma and bestie of Aadhya and best niece to Shruti". They both just smiled towards each other; Anuj in awkwardness and understanding and Mahira in sarcasm. After a while Aarav had bid Anuj bye and braced himself for her questions, but Mahira had done something completely unexpected, she had hugged him trying to calm herself. Aarav knew she required a little comfort, so he gave her comfort before explaining "Papa needed someone to sponsor the neurology section as it running low on funds, so Mr Kapadia had voluntered. He wanted a exclusive tour of the place and had specfically requested for Mahira Sharma, and you wouldn't come if I had said his name; so I had to lie. I'm sorry for this and giving you too much work, I was a bit upset and stressed, so sorrry". Mahira understood and forgave him. After that, they just spent the rest of the day working.
