Jennie drunkenly stumbled into the hotel room as she plopped on the bed waiting for jisoo's memories to take over her mind
her last memory of her
"jisoo no, you're supposed to put the icing on the gingerbread house—not eating it" jennie took the icing from jisoo's hand as she tired to push her girlfriend away
but failed—jisoo successfully managed to take the icing from her hand and ran around their house like an idiot
Jennie couldn't stop jisoo even if she wanted too—she always got what she wanted
soon jisoo settled down on the floor near jennie's feet and clunged to it while muttering, "I am tired I ran a lot"
Jennie crouched down on her eye level as she said, "I was not running after you—there was no need for you to run"
jisoo kissed jennie's cheek softly and pouted as she said, "I thought you will—I wanted you to chase me for once"
Jennie bursted out laughing as she hugged jisoo tightly and said, "I don't know if I can chase after you but I can hold you like this as long as you want"
jisoo just hummed and connected their lips—jennie melted into jisoos embrace as her body was filled with warmth from the other girl—she always felt safe while kissing jisoo
she felt calm holding onto jisoo
jisoo has and always will be jennie's safe place

it was 312 days without jisoo—jennie is the same old heartbroken girl she was a few months back but now she just choose to work more and ignore her feelings
here she was standing in queue to get her coffee when she bumped into a familiar person

Jennie remembered soojin as jisoo's friend—she looked at her clothes and noticed jennie's favourite band shirt which she gave to jisoo when they were dating
did jisoo gave it to her?
why?
soojin was the first one to speak asking jennie how she was tomwhich she responded that she's fine—she wanted to ask how jisoo was but she couldn't get herself to, not when she saw the tshirt on soojin
jennie looked up to see soojin give her a cocky smile as she said, "she's fine if youre wondering"
Jennie looked up and she got the answer she was expecting—she left the cafe with a heavy heart and wanting to break free from this agony but she can't she still feel...

it was 365 days without jisoo—a whole year
today jennie decided to start new—that meant getting drunk and forgetting all her worries and starting tomorrow was new her
upon her 5th shot she looked around a bit and saw a girl looking similar to jisoo—she made her way towards the girl as kissed her harshly—for a moment she felt it was not jisoo but she was too drunk to care about who she was
as long as she looked like jisoo that's all that matters
the girl kissed herback and both of them made their way outof the club and to a hotel room to enjoy their night
the next morning jennie woke up with a massive head ache and saw the girl beside her, she almost called out jisoo's name but this time she felt a lot less hurt
after all this time she learned to live with this—the sadness inside of her
"this is the new normal now" Jennie muttered to herself and went back to sleep
between all the pain and suffering she adapted herself to feel normal—this what shes feeling right now is her new normal
she knew she could never get jisoo back nor can she change what hapoened—she accepted herself this time the way she was cause she herself knew she deserves better
jisoo didn't hurt her for her to feel like this—they broke up mutually and she was the one still wallowing over her
she loves jisoo more than she loves herself—her heart will always flutter st the thought of jisoo
but jennie herself knewnthis time she needed to let her heart feel love again and not just pain
jisoo kim, will always be jennie's favourite love she's ever had
but now this is her heart telling her to move on and live her life
maybe she will
....maybe she won't...
