⩩ 3RD PERSON POV
- EVERYONE -They were running on the road. Their hair messy and losing their jackets on their way. The trees along the road started whistling, singing along with the wind. It was getting dark and creepy outside.
The group left their van behind. They didn't manage to get it because of the little time they had.
The tension was unbearable, but not for the psychopath in the middle. She was enjoying herself. Enjoying every second the group endured in fear. She loved that Heeseung was on her side and not the side of the so-called losers ahead of her.
A nice day always turns into something bad and the no one can handle living in this fear and pain any longer. Haneul barely survives anymore. Her pills made her show withdrawal symptoms, Jay and Miyoung can no longer manage without nicotine and alcohol. Sunghoon is still in the raw. Jake and Jungwon still battling who Miyoung would choose of the two before it will be too late. Hyewon couldn't be any more depressed. Sunoo worried about Riki pretending to be better than he actually feels. It's that easy, pretending.
Pretending to be fine.
Who goes before the praying, begging for them to be okay? Who is going to sacrifice themselves? Who is going to take away from them the pain they endure?
But no one, meanwhile, knew how Heeseung was doing.
Sunoo cried, looking back, seeing that Heeseung and Yoon Ah were hot on their heels. "We're going to die... We're all going to die here. On the road. I don't want to die on the road. I didn't say goodbye to anyone."
"No one wants to die," Hyewon stated. "But in the end, everyone will. No matter how, no matter why."
It was a long run. Jake gradually ran out of breath, as did the rest of the group. Everyone was panting, sweating. Miyoung stepped wrong, tearing her muscle. She cried out in pain, stumbling, slowly falling to the ground while still running.
The group heard a scream, looked back and saw Miyoung collapse a little way back. Everyone yelled at her to get up as they all trudged on. Miyoung could not get up. Her ankle was slowly turning blue. She tried to drag herself along the ground, looking up at the rest. "Help me!" She cried out loudly, crying. She held out her hand forward, her skin scraping across the asphalt.
