It had never been so terrible ever in all their lives. Finally the time had come to realize that there is an extreme low point in a teenager's life. Being a teenager is now one of the most terrible things on earth. How are you supposed to be a teenager without experiencing something shitty?
The morning sun was slowly rising and coming into view, shining through the front of the bus. Its rays reflected on the beautiful lake as the mountain blocked half of the sun.
Jay and Haneul were smoking together, sitting in the damp grass with their bare feet in the slightly flowing water of the lake. Hyewon had gone for a walk with Sunghoon, gossiping about Heeseung. He is and will never be the same, is what they kept saying to each other. They no longer had faith that things would ever be up to par.
Meanwhile on the bus, Miyoung and Jungwon were softly singing songs on the bus's faltering radio, which didn't work because they would be somewhere very far away from even a suburb. Still, they enjoyed singing on it because it carried something of entertainment.
Sunoo and Riki were both still sleeping peacefully with their eyes closed. A little twilight sun fell on their faces, making their skin glow. Jake sat watching in envy as Jungwon and Miyoung had such a good time with the two of them. He had a very strong feeling that something had happened at the beach that made them become so close. When he brought the can of beer to them after being out for days, they acted distant toward him. A big hunch says Jungwon likes Miyoung and vice versa.
Even though he has never talked to Jake or Sunoo about Miyoung about his feelings for her.
It was a quiet but also an anxiety-inducing morning. Everyone was still sitting with the previous events that stayed with them very much. No one can forget and it is almost tattooed in their heads. Almost everyone is silent, but busy in thought.
