With a cry for the miraculous puppet, Edana attempted to lift her head above the waters. Unexpectedly, the waves were pulling her in a certain way with unforeseen strength. Edana stubbornly struggled against the waves over and over. Edana was physically taught to be a fighter, just like every other child growing up in her world's child camps. However, her physical stamina was insufficient to oppose the large waves in the middle of the ocean. Before she passed out from being forced to drink a lot of ocean water, Edana noticed that the waves had carried her onto a big warship.
Edana's eyes opened again to find herself chained by the peculiar rock that could block magical ability and held inside a massive iron cage. Beside her rested the young soldier from Britain whom she had rescued. He was still not conscious.
Even though Edana was shackled to one spot, she tried to move closer to the soldier. She called for him to wake up, touching his face with her toes.
_Soldier, hey, hey!
In his slumber, the British soldier mumbled and gently opened his eyes. Even though they could hardly see anything in this dimly lit area, he took a close look to make sure that, at the very least, there was nothing dangerous around.
_ Soldier, do you still have any tools in your pocket that can break these chains?
_ I'm afraid they took everything in my pocket, miss. - The soldier answered calmly. - Besides, I don't believe we're in any danger right now. Sir Britain's water management sorcery was responsible for the waves that took us earlier. Perhaps he took us on his ship.
Edana thought the soldier's words made sense. She thought that in order for Britain to locate them, they had done a fantastic job of sending out SOS signals. She was just concerned about the fact that she couldn't seem to locate the magical puppet nearby. But as Sir Netherlands had instructed her to keep everything that belonged to him a secret, she was unable to call it out loud.
_ Can you please tell your supervisor to let me go? I have a lot to do with him.
Edana sighed as she looked at the closed door in front of her.
_ I feel the same way, miss. I guess all we can do now is wait.
The waiting period was not pleasant. The large waves shook the ship, causing Edana to become seasick. She was crouching in the corner, her hands over her mouth to keep from puking. Her face quickly turned pale.
_ Miss, are you all right?
The soldier inquired, concerned, as he observed her lose all of her energy and fall to the ground.
_ Everything is alright with me. Soldier, I just need to die a little bit.
She replied slowly because her tummy was grumbling.
The soldier gave her a look and then remained mute, though he meant to say something. Her body had been physically tormented for an hour. Lights started to come on in the big, dark cabin, and she was finally relieved to hear footsteps nearing the cage.
_ Almighty Sir!
When the soldier noticed his superior approaching the cage, he yelled. Britain was a tall, attractive man with red hair, as cool and as handsome as a statue of a Greek god made of marble. His appearance was so remarkable that his significant role was immediately apparent. A larger, more muscular man with blonde hair, a sly sneer, and a hint of sarcasm was walking beside him. That was America, the strongest and closest friend of Britain during this conflict.
_ Almighty sir, I'm grateful that you were able to locate my position and rescue me. I have to tell you a remarkable story about this young lady, but first, we need to let her rest...
