I did a small cough to get his attention
"Mhm?" He turned to face us "ah, hello you two"
"Hey" said Ivy
"Hello" I said
"Well I'm glad the two of you could make it" he said
"Not like we have anything else to do" said Ivy which made Bryan laugh a little
"I suppose so" he says "well you both are here to at least know a bit more about the town, why it was made and still is around"
"Well guess best place to start would well be with the why" Bryan says thinking to himself
"Most likely for the best" I say
"Well, my father had the idea due to how the supernaturals lived out in these woods, fending for themselves etc. while still dealing with the dislike from people. My dad had the idea to make a place where they could work together and live peacefully, at least by a little" Bryan explained "him, Vincent and Marcus were the ones who started this place. A witch, a puppet and a human"
"A human?" Ivy asked
He nodded "ran into my dad one day, helped since he was able to get supplies, though my dad could as well due to looking human"
"I mean that is how he met...my mom" Bryan said in a bit of a quieter voice
"What?" I asked
"Erm- nothing" Bryan says "well kinda"
"But um- Marcus helped since there were now more hands on deck, Vincent doing the blueprints, Matthew building and Marcus getting supplies though the roles did change from time to time" Bryan says
"Yet humans know nothing of you guys" says Ivy
"Well only like...three at the time knew" Bryan says
"And they were able to leave?" I asked
"That group wasn't around, not yet anyways" Bryan says
"You said three people knew of you guys, yet you only speak of Marcus" Ivy pointed out
"Well Marcus...is the more liked one? More well known..." Bryan says "the other two... I don't even know where they are now"
"I don't think we are getting their names" Ivy whispered to me
"Why aren't they around?" I asked
"Um, one left after they realized how big their mistake was and the other...I'm not sure, maybe they couldn't handle it" Bryan says
"Uh huh" Ivy said taking it all in
"Um.. let's see there isn't much else fully to it, this town was made as a safe place for supernaturals" Bryan says
"So are these all of them? I asked "or are there more out there?"
"This is everyone, all the supernaturals" Bryan says
"Wow" I said looking around
"It's best for all of us to stay together, you know?" He says
"Right" I said "we met Vincent and see Matthew...what happened to Marcus?"
"He passed away" Bryan says "there is a grave for him in Vincent's backyard"
"I see" said Ivy
"Well I believe that is everything" said Bryan "the rest is more so family history than anything"
"Alright" I said 'interesting'
"Well if you have any questions, you could ask Vincent" Bryan says "I have some work to get to"
He then walked away, going to his house
"He sure works a lot" said Ivy
"I mean he does run a town" I say
"Fair" she says "anything you want to do?"
I looked at the statue then at Ivy "not sure, we could just hang out with the others"
"Works for me" Ivy said with a smile
Though I couldn't help but wonder what other secrets there are, I'm sure we will learn about them as time goes on
