/Vendi's pov\

"Thank you for helping me put away the books" Bryan says to me, with a big smile

"No problem" I say as I felt my cheeks heat up

He looked back to the shelf as he put the next few books away

"Guessing there wasn't much luck?" I say

"No, I just wish my mom left something behind for me to use, some hint at the spell, she couldn't have come up with it all by herself" Bryan says annoyed

"I get it" I say

"Like she had to take time, there was no way the spell was out of nowhere she had the idea for awhile" Bryan says

"Maybe she did leave something behind" I suggested "but it's hidden, I mean she didn't want people to know and based on what I was told, she didn't even tell Matthew that the drink was a spell or well potion"

"Yeah, she gave it to him once he came home and the effects took a day or two" Bryan says

"And if she worked on it in secret she wouldn't leave it laying around" I say "so maybe instead of looking for a book that kinda seems close to the curse we try to find something of her's" I suggested

"I mean I did try once...but I guess I kinda looked in plain sight, kinda" He says "I didn't spend much time since this place isn't that big but you may be into something!"

He ran up to me and hugged me "You're a genius!"

"I mean you had the idea before!" I say trying to hype him up

"Still" he pulls away, hands in my shoulders "thank you"

"Once again it was nothing" I say "what places have you checked"

"The whole house, Vincent's place and around town" He says "there were only so many places she would go"

"And plus a lot of the others houses were checked and nothing" he says disappointed "but she was here the most for awhile, most likely making the potion, so I'll double check the place!"

I nodded my head "that works"

"But it's late so we should rest...sleepover!" He says

"We live together..." I say, kinda confused

"I'll get changed and we can sleep down here tonight" he says "you get ready to!"

He quickly went upstairs. I smiled 'cool... There isn't anywhere for us to sleep or for him to as I take up the reading spot....ah'

We were both changed. Be in a button up pj shirt and some pj pants, that were blue. And Bryan in a white shirt and dark grey shorts

I was able to see a lot more of hia curse due to the shorts. As one whole leg was taken up by it and the other was barley at the knee. Plus seeing his legt arm being taken up by it, though it barely went pass the elbow. Also when Bryan was spining his shirt went up a little, not a lot but I was able to see it on his torso

It's kinda crazy, not even kinda it is crazy how much has spread but then again it's been spreading since he was a child

"Come on!" He said going up the steps to the reading area I sleep in

I also went up, I laid more to the edge wile Bryan was near the wall

He pulled the blanket over us and laid down, I followed his league

"This isn't much of a sleepover" I say

"Us cleaning was kinda apart of it?" He says grabbing at straws "I don't know I thought it would be fun, do you not want me to sleep down here?"

"No no" I say "your fine!"

He smiled "alright, if you say so"

He laid on his side, facing me "night"

I was also laying on my side facing him "have good dreams"

He smiled as he shut his eyes. I just stared for a little

I smiled...'maybe I could...No!'

I shook my head 'I mean...a kiss on the forehead isn't the worse thing, friends and parents do it all the time and we're... friends'

'its just wishing him good night' I felt my cheeks heat up 'that's all'

I put a hand kinda under his cheek, miving closer to give him a kiss on the forehead

When I gasped, moving my hand away. I was frozen...

I looked at the purpleish color the was now on his cheek. It was barely at the bottom. But watching it spread there caught me off guard

I don't even now why...we knew of this. Maybe it's because I never saw it for myself? Or maybe I'm over thinking it...

Bryan then turned over to face the wall... I was still frozen 'if I wake up tomorrow before him I'll tell him that, though with now him and Dylan act about it, I don't know much they will care. Like they will care but are also use to it'

I sighed 'we all are use to it' I turned now laying on my back. I used my hands to cover my face 'I also tried to kiss Bryan... I know it's a forehead kiss but I still tried!'

I took a deep breath 'just rest.. everything is fine....yup totally'
