SMG34 oneshots?!!?!!?!!?

(dw i didnt die. Also, t/w for suicide. This story is told from SMG4's POV :).)

I stared down at the chaotic waters down below. Two years ago, this very day, I watched SMG3 die. I never got to tell him how much I loved him.

And now, two years later, I stare down the face of the cliff. After a fight with a monster threatening this world, we managed to save the world. Except that nobody else from the SMG4 crew made it out alive.

It feels wrong to be the only one left out of all my friends. I would've thought that Mario would've been the survivor, since he's the avatar of this world.

The world is burning, and I'm powerless to do anything without my rival, my love and my counterpart, SMG3.

This world won't last very long without Mario. I should've died in the battle with the others, yet I somehow escaped.

It feels wrong to survive without my friends- Meggy, Tari, Luigi and Boopkins to name a few.

I look down at the waters of turmoil again. I know I cannot swim. But that's good for my plan.

I cannot bear to see this world break apart and crumble. It's not worth it. I can try to help others survive, but that'll only give them a slower and more painful death.

I took a step closer to the edge. I can join SMG3 now, right? And we can be best friends once again in the great beyond.

I took another step. It was either this or a slow painful death with this world. Besides, if I go, it will let the others have less painful deaths.

My foot is on the edge. A few small rocks break off from the unsupported pressure. I surveyed my surroundings. Water, water, water, water... oh well, looks like I can't just die from a high fall and get it done with.

Both my feet are now at the edge. I look down. The water is deep enough to drown, and far enough away from anything else that nobody can save me.

Good.

I took one last breath, fixed my hat for the final time and walked over the edge into the perilous waters below.

Goodbye.
