Chapter Twenty-Six

I looked over at my mate she seemed to be lightly panting then I smelled something sweet.

I followed my nose it was coming from my mate. I mind linked her asking if she was alright but I realized she was releasing slick and it started to drip down her dress.

I grabbed my suit and tied it around her waist so nobody else would see my aroused mate. She blushed and avoided eye contact with me I smirked.

Alan went in for a hug but I blocked my mate and extended my hand out to greet him.

This bastard ignored my hand and began talking to my mate I felt my anger rise but I had to calm down.

I sat Ana down then I sat down I started the conversation I asked Alan how he knew my mate.

He smirked and said that wasn't important this made my eye twitch there isn't no way I'm going to sit here and not get aggravated.

I was ready to ask Ana to marry me so I got down on one knee and cleared my throat. I spoke "Ana would you marry me " she got up and said "YES" I placed the ring on her small finger and hugged her.

I smiled at Alan mocking him. Our food arrived but I could see my mate in discomfort so I decided to call it a night.

I got up and bowed goodbye I picked up my pregnant mate just in case any wolf's were hidden.

I felt someone grab me from behind I turned my body to see what they wanted and I was greeted by a punch to the face.

I sat Ana down on an empty chair beside me. I ran my tongue through my fangs trying to locate the taste of iron. By now I knew who hit me.

I was beyond pissed this human was basically challenging me for my mate. Unfortunately I couldn't control my anger and I let out a loud growl not caring what these humans thought.

But I bowed down in respect apologizing for my loud growl. That might have made innocent people uncomfortable.

I took at deep breath trying to control my eye color since I felt my wolf trying to come out and they couldn't know I was a monster.

All humans knew that werewolves lived amongst them and would always refer to us as monsters.

I calmed my eyes and took off my inner suit and sat it down I also unbuttoned a few buttons off my dress shirt to give me more room. I tied my hair up and got into a boxing stance.

I was sitting down waiting for Ana to arrive I was excited to see her again after all these years.

She told me she was going to get married but I didn't believe her because since high school she said she didn't want to marry anyone.

I saw Ana and she looked stunning she was wearing a cream dress. I was stunned she had a baby bump and as I could tell she was a few months pregnant.

I was shocked then I smiled at her and waved for her to come my way. I got up to hug Ana and I didn't realize the tall figure next to her.

It was a woman she got in front of me and Ana's hug. I was confused was this woman her bodyguard or something.

She extended her hand out but I didn't know her so ignored it Ana spoke up and introduced the tall woman as her partner.

I was beyond confuse out of all people including me she chose this random tattooed woman.

I just stood there when I noticed that Ana seemed uncomfortable then I saw her so called "Partner" wrap her suit around her waist.

They sat down and the woman introduced herself as Eva. She began to ask how me and Ana met.

Was this woman jealous of me and Ana's relationship I smirked. I told her that wasn't important I could see the anger on her face I saw her eye twitching.

The food we ordered finally arrived but before we could eat I saw Eva get up and bow me goodbye.

I was pissed was this man woman really gonna ruin me and Ana's date. Before they could get out the door I threw a punch at Eva without thinking about it.

She fell to floor and she licked her lips not realizing her lip was bleeding I felt fear. Something about this woman wasn't normal I started to feel suffocated.

She got up and placed Ana on an empty chair near her. She started to take off her inner suit and pulled up her shirts sleeves up wrapping them above her forearm revealing her tattoos.

I recognized one of them it was a snake coming out of a skull right on the middle of her neck. I felt vivid fear only mafia bosses had that tattoo in that same place.

I was fucked I needed to get out of here before something worse happened. She got into a boxing position I didn't want to fight her but I couldn't back down in front of Ana. I wanted to show her I grew up and I wasn't the same kid she met.
